Works great! Material is durable and seemed to distribute our dog’s weight. She doesn’t like it, but allowed me to trim her nails without the usual panic and struggle that required two people and was still rushed. I was able to take as much time as I needed to trim each nail. We’re looking forward to trimming her nails more regularly, a task we didn’t do as often as we should because she HATES having her nails done. Didn’t trust our tension shower rod to hold 40lbs of dog, so we rigged something using a metal rod. Needed two people to hoist the dog up/attach the straps. I’m now designing a stand of sorts that will be much easier to work with and not require two people.

We used it for goats. It was totally worth it! It held small goats easily (Pygmy/ Nigerian cross). Getting them in was a little tricky, then we lifted them with a tractor bucket. As soon as their feet were off the ground they stopped moving and it made trimming hooves so much less stressful. Wished we would have bought this sooner.. it saved prevented so much struggle, not even kidding. We did use different clips than what came with it, and we also used a weight rated rope that made it easy for the set up we had.

I wish I could have taken photos but, our first round was a bit of trial and error mixed with minor chaos. We have three dogs in our house and was able to use this on all of them. It was not a perfect fit for any of them but, got the job done. We have not been able to trim our dogs nails on our own for some time as none of our dogs are big fans and it has proven much easier and quicker to pay someone. However, this can be a lot of time and money with three dogs.Notes - we also purchased an inexpensive nail grinder on amazon. My husband was able to quickly clip nails and then I went behind and used the grinder for smoothing. With our dogs we placed a table underneath them. Got them on the table then placed them in the hammock. While I held the hammock up, my husband used ratchet straps to hook to the hammock and lift them up. We used an exposed floor joist in our basement as the support. With our dogs we found that they had to be lifted completely off the surface both front and back so that they could not make contact and push off. One of our dogs found a work around this by pushing off of my husband while clipping. Two of our dogs are large and wigglers, so it helped that I comforted them and gave them treats to keep them still (food worked as treats as all three of our dogs are very much food driven). Now for the dogs and fit. You want to make sure you have the hammock laid right to begin with. I laid it on the table before lifting the dogs onto the table so that I could put their feet in and lift up. Our oldest and largest boy is a chunky lab/hound mix weighing in at about 84lbs. I would have preferred a bit longer hammock for him but, it supported his weight just fine. As he wiggled around he ended up with the front of the hammock sliding down and pushing on him in a way that did not look very comfortable - luckily we were close to done. Our second is a german sheppard weighing in around 70lbs. The hammock fit him the best as he is lean - he was the most active boy and for this a slightly bigger hammock would have also been ideal. Lastly, we have a mini aussie, a chunky girl weighing in between 30-35lbs. The hammock was a little long as far as leg spacing but can bunch up to make work. Having the most available fabric around her, the size actually worked best to helo ensure that she did not escape or wiggle out.We were able to clip all three dogs nails in about thirty minutes with all the change outs and two adults. Yes I would definitely recommend this for those that need another option for trimming nails at home. I would definitely purchase this again and will be on the search for a larger size for more comfort for our guys.

Our little guy (20 lb Terrier/Schnauzer) is a feisty senior we adopted a year ago. We've been getting his nail grinds at big chain pet stores, but we've had a slew of problems from abuse from nail techs, to him getting a bit bitey (he has very few teeth but still), to coming home with fleas from our first time at a different chain. Anyways, I haven't really been crazy about doing his nails ourselves bc his nails are black and I know how bad he fights and screams with the techs. When I saw the reviews from this product, I said hey why not.Our experience totally matches the other success stories. I can't believe how calm and manageable he was. My husband and I tag teamed it. Other than a few minutes of our guy trembling a little, he was good as gold. His ability to pull his feet away is limited by hanging since he has no leverage, so it was incredibly improved from what I've seen go on in the pet store groom stations. I'm hoping this wasn't a fluke and that next time will also go this smoothly. The product fit him perfectly (size small) and I feel it's reliable quality. Mine only came with one carabiner clip, but luckily we had two matching ones at home to use. We made a makeshift station out of our pull up bar, and it worked great. I think this is a winner, and now we don't have to worry about dealing with grooming techs, worry about him biting, or worry about coming home with fleas. Much less stressful on all of us, and this hammock paid for itself in one use.

It helps me to cut and trim my dogs nails but getting him into the holder takes me some time.

This Hammock was great, Willow stresses really bad having her nails cut,I used to get them done at the vet but poor girl would come out bleeding from them clipping the quick, not their fault as I know what Willow's like, anyway I used this in conjunction with my son's engine hoist and it worked perfectly and she was absolutely stress free â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸Sorry for some reason it wouldn't let me upload pics.

Size is not as described. Extremely tight around the legs. Cuts of circulation! Straps tore within a minute even though my dog weighs a lot less than the maximum.

My pitbull hates his nails being trimmed, so this comes in real handy and makes the job easy. Less stress on both of us.

We have an 80 lb lab who refuses to let us touch his feet. We tried everything. Grinders, different clippers, going to our vet. We were told we would have to sedate him for nail clipping and this was our last resort. He doesn’t love it, but he lets us clip his nails now and it only takes a few minutes. Definitely worth the money.

Quality of the hammock wasn't worth the money, came with s hooks which stated they don't use, and never came with the right hooks,
