I want to give them 10 stars! These diapers are awesome for our 10 month old puppy in heat. We decided to wait until after the holidays to have her fixed, but we waited just a little too long. They fit well, stay in place, and they are easy to put on. The princess colors are bright and they hold up well to washing on the delicate cycle. These diapers saved us a lot of mess! For size reference, we got a large - our dog that is using these is a very trim German Shepherd mix and weighs about 50 lbs. If we had to use these on our other dog that weighs about 60 lbs and is a stockier mixed breed, we would get an XL.

These dog diapers are the cutest! They are not just stylish, but they move with my dog & are comfortable too. Super easy to put on & take off. My little fur baby had surgery, hence the t-shirt, but the medication for healing has given her anal leakage. These diapers are absorbent & keep all the icky stuff in the diaper. And they are easy to clean! Love these PetParent Diapers â¤ï¸

All of our prior dogs were adopted as spayed/neutered adults, so we'd never had to go through the messiness of having a dog in heat. We ordered this set of doggie diapers because the ones we borrowed from a friend worked well and were of the same brand. We bought the Large size for our 60-pound female Shepherd because our friend's Mediums seemed a bit too small. Ours fit well around the hips and don't slip down, we can get them off her quickly due to the Velcro straps, and she's not able to wiggle out of them. The tail hole is elasticized, but I do wish it had a bigger diameter to facilitate putting the diapers on. We've washed them several times (I pre-treat the blood stains) and they come clean well.

I used Pet Parents' belly bands for my old man dog, and they worked like a charm. My new old lady dog was diagnosed with diabetes insipidus, so she suddenly started peeing LARGE volumes of pee at night in her sleep. For reference, she is a 12lb fluffy white pup, 14" waist.Initially, I tried out another brand that was almost identical to this design, but I ordered the medium since everyone said they ran small (I imagine the sizing is comparable to this brand). The medium waist was JUST right at the absolute tightest it could be, and it ended up being a little too big. I ordered the Pet Parents one in a smaller, and the fit is MUCH better. It's nice and snug with the velcro at the loosest setting, with room to adjust tighter if needed. I will say that BOTH brands have the same design flaw: the elastic around the leg is too loose and doesn't make a seal, which leaves room for leakage. If she was still needing diapers now (medicine is helping a lot), I'd probably try to figure out a way to sew them a little shorter, but it's too much of a hassle for me to care right now. My work around the leakage was to also buy some reusable puppy pads to lay on her bed and my couch where she likes to sleep so they can catch whatever leaks out. It worked for the most part, though it gets kind of tiresome. The two brands were both very similar in material and design, but I will say one huge difference: the other brand's outer layer was NOT leak proof; if she saturated the diaper, the outside would be damp by the morning. Even though the Pet Parents diapers leaked, the outer layer of fabric was always still dry, so I know they leaked out the sides of the legs rather than through the diaper itself. Also, the tail hole on this Pet Parents brand is a little snugger than the other brand, which I liked. One negative: the absorbent pad part is just a little smaller than I would like for it to be. I would have liked it to extend all the way to the edges of the legs where the elastic is. Instead, you can see in the photo where the stitched rectangle is, and that's essentially where the absorbent pad ends. That leaves about a 1/2 inch of material where the urine can leak through. I will say, though, this seems to be how ALL of the comparable products are (I researched a lot), and I'm not sure there is any better of an option out there. So... this one still seems to be the best option out of what is available. As long as your pup isn't completely oversaturating it with a disproportionate amount of urine (courtesy of diabetes insipidus) like my little one was, it should be sufficiently absorbent. What I have found to work for cleanup: I rinse the diaper in the sink with hot water, then soak it in a bucket of vinegar and water (roughly 1 part vinegar, 2-3 part water... although I just eyeball it) for a while. I usually try to wait until I have 4-5 dirty ones to wash them in my washer/dryer, so I just let them stay soaking in the vinegar until it's time to wash. That helps to eliminate any yucky urine odor (although you do smell vinegar, haha). Then I wash them per the instructions they come with. This has worked well, and I haven't noticed any degradation of the product at all.Overall, I love the quality of the material and construction on these diapers, and if your pup is needing diapers, just do yourself a favor and just buy these now. It's not worth the hassle of trialing other products since this one works the best out of them all, in my experience.

We purchased these for our dog who was experiencing bladder issues and needed protection prior to a bladder surgery. They work great and I would trust the sizing guide. I initially ordered a medium because I just didn’t think my dog needed a large, but I quickly realized even with the extender that the next size up was necessary. I would suggest two packs as we go through 3-4 a day and soak the soiled diapers in water, white vinegar and detergent until we are ready to wash them. My dog seems to not overly mind them, but she isn’t fond of me having to pull her long haired tail through them. I am so happy I found these and would recommend them to any dog owner who has a pet with any type of incontinence issues. They are well worth the money and the design and adjustability is great!

This is a good product which would work best for light incontinence. The padding is sufficient for that, and there are pads you can purchase to absorb more. So it’s possible they’re 5 stars for you. They fit my dog perfectly and she doesn’t mind having them on - doesn’t even seem to notice. (As opposed to disposable diapers which she just walks out of.) They wash nicely and quickly ready to wear again. The outer fabric is not waterproof. Maybe somewhat water resistant - maybe, but after a heavy night the outside fabric is definitely wet and has leaked out. In addition, apparently unique to my female dog, she often barely wets the padded underside, but somehow soaks the portion of the diaper ABOVE her tail! I have no idea how/why this happens and there is no padding on that part so it’s always wet. Adding a square pad up there wasn't enough to keep the diaper dry. So right now I’m buying baby diapers, cutting off the fabric around the padding which is long enough to cover the entire inside of these. The baby diaper provides additional absorbent padding along with a waterproof layer which protects the outer diaper. This combo is a pain, but is working perfectly for us.

I'm very happy with this product. I measured my dog's waist and ordered the L size and they fit her very well. The quality of the product seems very good. I've hand washed them a number of times and they dry relatively quickly

Having tested the product after one week, this product delivers as promised. It caught and captured even a large overnight leak without soaking into the bed below. Compared to another similar product, I prefer this brand because it is more stretchy and therefore more comfortable for my dog. I have been handwashing the garments but yesterday I ran a load through my small top washer of my washing machine since it is a small load. Not everyone has this feature, but I thought I would comment on this method also. Overall nice fitting and quality product that stops small and big leaks.
