This product is AMAZING. I had an older cat who developed diabetes and began urinating copious amounts in a couple of spots on the carpet. And then my other healthy cats started following suit. I had tried several different products that state their enzymatic action is sure to get rid of all odor causing bacteria. Wrong! It only made the odor worse. We had had a house fire that dislocated our family and pets for 7 months while the contractors worked to restore our home. Long story short, when we moved back home, we had new carpeting throughout the house and we believed that our problem with the urinating on the carpet would correct itself, it didn't. They went right back to the same spots as before despite having had new carpet and padding installed. Unfortunately my diabetic cat past away prior to moving back home, but the other cats started in with the same behavior. I was desperate for a product to eliminate the urine odor and found this product on the internet. After reading all of the positive comments, I decided to try it. I Just received the product in the mail 2 days ago and immediately treated the problem areas. Un-be-lievable. STINK FREE INSTANTLY removed the odor completely. It does have a strong fragrance but I don't mind. It smells fresh to me. I have a VERY sensitive nose and can smell odors that nobody in my house can smell, so for me to not smell any residual urine odor left behind in my carpet is really saying something about how well STINK FREE INSTANTLY works. And believe me, I got down and put my nose down to the carpet! It had no odor at all. I think that those reviews that say it didn't work for them must not have used enough of the product to saturate the padding underneathe the carpeting. The real test is to see if the odor stays gone or if it will return later. So far the cats don't seem interested in remarking the carpet, but it is still early, though I did use enough of the product to get to the subflooring under the carpet and padding. We'll have to see. All in all, I strongly recommend STINK FREE INSTANTLY to anyone that has stubburn urine odor problems. It really does work. I will be ordering more to have on hand just in case I need it in the future!

I adopted an older cat and he peed all over the house. I head a carpet cleaning company clean and treat the carpets. Then I started using this to clean up any new spots as well as smells lingering from the carpet cleaner. I use an old fashioned ketchup type bottle to apply. This gives me better control and prevents over use. Just apply and leave to dry. I have been following it up with a carpet deodorizer as the scent of this product lingers. It's not a bad smell, we just prefer no scent. And we've had to apply it to so many spots, it kinda gets to be a bit much.

I have an older cat who occasionally wetted the carpet in several areas in my hallway. I would clean the carpet then use products that "guaranteed " the smell would be gone. Nope... She would go back to the same spots. A groomer friend of mine said to try this and it really works! My cat has stopped wetting and is back to using her box. Some reviews have said the solution smell is strong, but we liked it and it faded in a day or two. You really do want to soak the carpet as per instructions. I stepped all around the area after I applied it to be sure the pad was saturated. It took a day to dry but the smell is gone. My dog doesn't even give the spots a sniff anymore.My son bought a too good to be true couch for $100 (3 piece power sectional, cloth material, looked perfect) and found out why when he laid down in it. He paid to have it professionally cleaned, smell was still there... Sent this home with him and the couch is fine. Smell is completely gone.Buy this, you won't regret it.

Tried several other products first for cat urine; wish I had found this one sooner. Saturated the carpet as recommended, took a couple of days to "dry naturally" and so far so good. Will know for sure on a really warm day. I like the fresh scent.I will be ordering another bottle for another spot my cat found in the meantime.

My dog has just decided that after 7 years it’s ok to start peeing on a blanket that I have on a chair in the living room rug and think that’s ok. So I have read the reviews and decided to try this stuff. It really does work and thank God because he has done it again now he is locked out of that room when we are not home!! Problem solved!!

I have a 17-year-old Shih Tzu who is frail and can't always wait to get outside. Sometimes she misses the pad. Stink Free wipes out the odor, leaving a scent that is mild. I am pleased that it is made in the USA.

Works well, but there's a definite chemical fragrance that still hasn't left the room we used it in after ~5 months (with the windows open and fans running half that time). The first few months it was strong enough to give headaches if you were in the room long enough - our diabetic cat hit 3 spots heavily that needed probably a quarter of this container. It's not noticeable unless you're close to the floor now, and the urine smell is definitely gone, I just wish it didn't take so long to stop smelling awful.

We had an old, sweet German Shepherd who was peeing on the carpet towards the end of her life. Even after shampooing, we were still able to smell pee, and the other dog took to peeing in the same spot. After we put this down, the smell went away and the other dog stopped peeing indoors, in that spot.
