Quiet Design
If the wheel becomes noisy or difficult to turn then check the grey disc in the center of the wheel. There should also be a slight gap between the back edge of the grey plastic center and the inside face of the wheel.
If the wheel is catching (not turning smoothly and is noisy) then the grey disc needs adjusting (from the back) by using two fingers to gently push the disc back into its housing by 1 or 2mm.
Anti-slip
The lateral tread on the inside is slightly convex, which can effectively increase the friction and avoid slipping.

I've bought three or four of these already. I breed rats and these wheels have been very sturdy and quiet. Definitely recommend these. Other wheels i bought in the past have not passed the test.

Caught a mouse in the house but, it was too cold to let loose outside in a New England winter… so, I made him CC a little home in a 10 gallon talk I had. Decided that I should provide him exercise cause he was gonna live here for a while. I had a mouse once before my cats had caught and ripped one of his legs off… so, he needed a wheel that his 3 remaining feet wouldn’t risk getting stuck. So I had gotten him a similar wheel. But, then I regifted the whole setup to someone else who found and rescued a house mouse… so, when I needed the wheel again for my newest mouse guest I needed to purchase another one since I never got back the mouse setup I let someone use… but, I remember my 3 legged mouse hauling ass on his other plastic wheel and it being super loud… but THIS wheel doesn’t creek at all and though my new mouse is not as athletic, I have caught him using it though, I just have to lick out to catch them using it cause it’s so quite I won’t hear them running at all!Get this wheel. It’s stable. Quiet and totally worth the price.

My guy loves this wheel! I love the fact that it’s put all together so I just had to pull it out of the box. The wheel size is actually really nice because my hamster is on the bigger size. It’s not quiet but I don’t care it’s worth it

I like this wheel it rotates smoothly. No sound, and can be attached to a cage. I bought the full cheeks cage from Petsmart so unfortunately I can’t hook it on there but it does fit in a little center Of the cage that’s open. It wobbles slightly bc it’s on the base provided. I actually thought the wheel would be too big for her but it’s perfect and she got used to it.

I had purchased this as it was advertised as quiet. It is quiet, because,...it does not spin. You can use this wheel either on the mount or connect it to the cage. I tested it without the hamster and when you spin it, the screw comes off and it falls. Not safe . This item is garbage.

It was quiet to begin with if you kept it steady. Wish the hamster doesn't cuz he goes crazy so it's pretty worthless both ways and becomes super noisy and wobbles practically falling apart. He uses it so much. Had to buy a $35 one which was super quiet and unlike this well worth it. Don't waste your money on the cheaps... Unless you don't care about the noise.

This hamster wheel was perfect for my needs and in size. I put it in a hermit crab tank and its functionality works like it’s supposed too. It’s great quality, safe for a hermit crab tank and easy to clean prior to putting it in the tank. It’s stability as it sits on the sand is great. I can’t really comment on how hamsters would like it but I’m sure they will if it could meet another creatures needs

When I installed it in my hamsters cage,he jumped right in and started running in the wheel! Love it! Good price and fits perfectly!
