The warming part works very well, and my cat loves it. Be forewarned however, the 16x9 is VERY small. The actual outside dimensions, with the outer roll part squashed down is really only 16x8. The middle flat part where the cat lies down is about 13x4.5. Fortunately, the cat I got it for is very small, so it works great for her.

The mat is pretty small, but it works great for our elderly cat who is very tiny and likes to have a little more heat when sleeping. Our small chihuahua also likes it. It's a bit smaller than a small crate (like what you take your pet to the vet in), but it's still useful for smaller animals.

For the first 2 weeks my 4 pound chihuahua loved this bed....actually she still does, but I'm upset because it has already torn at the seam. My dog is almost 10 years old and has not been rough with this bed so I'm disappointed that it has already come apart. I should be able to sew it back together because truly she does love this toasty warm bed. Also be aware that it is really small. Perfect for my mini chihuahua, but may be too small for larger pups. I would still buy it again.

delivered on time, item is what is described. This bed that measures16x9 looks small but when you put it in a small carrier it fits perfectly. However wish it was a little more thicker padding and was not expecting crinkling noises when cat steps on it. I did buy this for cage use so hopefully it'll do its job and keep her warm and comfortable but other than that I know my cat will not sleep on it except maybe for the box it got delivered in.
