We have a maltipoo-yorkipoo puppy.I was looking for a comb to use for his little face.I purchased other cheaper comb/brush combo items prior to this comb… Waste of $!!!This little comb is perfect!

The face and eye comb is a good option for grooming your dog's face and eyes. It's made of thick, durable plastic, which seems like it'll last for a long time. I appreciate the precision it offers for different hair types and sizes of dogs and cats, which is a nice feature. The handle is relatively comfortable, and it does help with grooming. However, if you have a particularly small dog with a small face, it can be a bit more challenging to use. Personally, I need a smaller tool for my pup because her face is so small, but I can still see its effectiveness.One thing to note is that it does a decent job of removing tear gunk and keeping the facial area clean. However, it's not going to eliminate stains. You'll need a stain remover for that, but this tool will help. Overall, it serves its purpose and does a decent job. I'd consider it a solid choice for basic grooming needs.

I bought this to use on my service dog's eye boogars. He's not a fan of having me pick them off, but his poodle fur really seems to help them form. This comb is nice and gentle, the teeth are perfectly spaced and tight together, and there is no odor to the product.Works exactly as I need it to. I had been using a flea comb that was more like a big square, but this makes the job better and I think my dog likes it better that I'm not coming at him with a larger grooming tool.

This is one of those items that you don’t think you need it until you try it and then you don’t want to be without one. It’s such a small, simple and basic little comb but it works great at getting out the eye “gunk†pieces, helps to make the perfect little ponytails on top of their head, great for facial haircuts to smooth out little sections and so much more. I’ve also used this to help get out tangles and small mats from my larger dogs hair. The handle is long and easy to hold. The metal bristles are rounded so they won’t poke or scratch their skin and are spaced out enough to glide through the hair but are close enough to get out any bits that might be in their hair. Overall I highly recommend this for any sized dog, it’s a great addition to your grooming supplies.

The curved design really is better. When I'm combing close to Phoebe's eyes it seems a lot safer than another square-ended comb I have. The problem is that combing her nose, like most other grooming activities, is something she doesn't like and is always trying to get away from.My one request would be to have another comb with the teeth farther apart. This one is nice to finish the job with but because it is so fine, I often run into tangles that I have to work out first. Even if the wider come was on the other end of this one it would give options and probably not be that much more of an expense to produce.

This little comb is amazing for small areas. Easy to hold. The tines are narrow enough and the curve is just right to clean the eyes easily.

So this is pretty much a mini version of the metal combs used in grooming. Works well for brushing the areas where a larger comb is harder to maneuver, i.e. the face.The rounded tips are not sharp at all and lets you easily and gently tease out all the gunk and debris from your dog's face.This is a must have if you have a dog prone to tear stains or that gets a lot of stuff stuck in their beards and around their mouths.
