We ordered the clear Petri Dishes for a science project. They arrived in sealed sterile packaging. The dishes are made from durable material and are a perfect viewable size. Great value for the money. .

i am not using these they way such things are used but these are really good and i carry them in my pocket to collect insects. i've had these for months and have broken 2. one i dropped a hammer on, and the other i put down and a branch fell on it.i'm collecting insects in these and as good as they are in the field, they must me amazing in the lab.yes, you will like, no disappointment

Very good for the price! They all arrived intact with no cracks or breaks. They hold agar very well, I even poured hot agar into them and they held up nicely. Definitely worth the money, I’m very impressed by the quality. They arrived in a sterile airtight bag.

Dishes are not sterile, this caused large amounts of contamination and wasted resources. Do not buy.

What I understand as sterile is usually individually packaged sterile items. This was apparently packaged all together in a single sterile plastic wrapper. So the moment you open the wrapper, the dishes all come loose and open up (the lids are very loose) and sterility is lost for all the dishes. So I basically cannot use these multiple times as I had planned, but only for a single first time use.It should be much clearer in description that all dishes are wrapped together in one sterile package and not individually wrapped.

These work great to seperate strains and also look at things under a microscope. Dyes can be used in them to help you see certain things and the dye didnt stain the dishes at all. I highly recommend!
