It works exactly as you would expect for a replacement drain stopper, except I was expecting it to feel heavier. It’s also got a blue plastic protective film that you need to remove to reveal the chrome finish.

Very cheaply built. The “chrome†metal portion of the stopper is press fit onto the plastic stem, and the one I received wasn’t attached.

This product fits and works perfectly in any sink with a 1 3/8 inch drain popup stopper system. It is way cheaper than the $40.00 for hardware to replace the entire sink drain assembly. Dispite an extensive search at actual hardware stores and online plumbing fixture suppliers I could not locate a replacement gasket for the 1 and 3/8 inch popup stopper. The original stopper assembly has a chrome plated metal threaded on top and this item appears to be a moulded plastic assembly with a crimp fitted chrome dresser plate. Honestly that is just astetics as this item works as well as the original. Now I need to order a second one for the sink in the other bathroom.

Checked everywhere for a bathroom sink drain stopper and nothing. Ended up with the Amazon filtered chrome topped popup sink stopper.
