I broke the cheap plastic threaded ferrule on a Quickie Bulldozer Rough Surface push broom. It took me about 5 minutes to remove the broken one and install this tough metal one. The threads matched up well. I have not gotten to use the broom very many times because I use it for sweeping snow off my sidewalks, decks, and patios and it hasn't snowed much since I did the repair, but if this one breaks next winter I will update this review.

We tried a different product 1st, but it was smaller than listed and all the other 1 inch inner diameter tips were either too small as well or their quality was poor. Having no other choice we tried this one in hope that it being a clamp style tip we could get it to open enough to fit our 1 inch outer diameter pole. While I don't know all the details, my father got it to work on the pole he needed it for and I'm happy as we didn't want to have to buy a whole new extension pole.

We bought a very nice telescoping pole to change lights in our vaulted ceilings and clean cob webs from under the eaves in our entry and around the house. It worked great for a few months, until the plastic tip broke due to nothing other than poor design. The diameter of the top section was slightly smaller than this tip was designed for, but I could not find anything else that was going to work at all, so I gave this one a shot. As predicted, it was too large, but after wrapping some electrical tape around the pole, this tip went on closer to proper size, and then once it was tightened it held firmly in place. This is going to serve us just fine, and it has to be stronger than the original plastic tip.

I bought this after my broom handle tip broke for my quickie push broom. I also bought a handle brace to repair a $20.00 quickie push broom. I was extreme ly happy to be able to repair something broken vs throwing it away and paying $40.00 for a new push broom. This piece paired with the handle brace has been a great upgrade and should give me plenty more use of my push broom.

This is a great product idea. The threads fit a typical tool, but we found not tightly enough for a paint roller as it kept self loosening when painting. Electrical tape over the threads helps.

I took a 1/4" drill and drilled out the dimples on the old handle tip, until I hit wood. Then put the wooden handle in a vise and used a wood chisel and a hammer to tap the old metal piece off of the pole tip. Loosened the screw on the new cast metal thread tip and tapped it into place with the hammer. I will be installing the metal clamp on braces when that order arrives. Pretty slick.

I waited too long past the return date to apply it to my Quickie broom. Bummer. A review stated, it work great with their Quickie Bulldozer and I have same one broom... the tip threads do not match the head section where the tip inserts and its too narrow where at least a 1/4 in gap around the entire circumference. Disappointing.

Purchased to add a little length to the end of a wooden cane. Attaches easily and rubber tips fit perfectly over the end of it.
