The VICTOGRAIN abrasive grain triangles are identical in shape and size and their cutting edges are applied to the workpiece at the optimum angle, meaning the grain needs very little energy to penetrate the workpiece. Each VICTOGRAIN abrasive grain triangle is firmly fixed on one of its sides to the backing material. Compared to a standard stone wheel, this increases grinding speed by 5-10x making me less scared of laying down too much weld. I'm now confident that I can quickly grind it off and try again. Made a huge difference in my learning curve.The discs last about twice the same volume of metal as a stone wheel. But since they take the material off 5-10x faster, this means the Pferd wheels can seem to wear out quicker. But in reality, they're wearing at the same rate (discs / volume of metal).Love em. Changed how I'm learning to weld.

These discs are awesome for removing lots of material fast. I keep a grinder dedicated to these for just that purpose. Save your pricy discs for finish tasks.

These disc grind through welds like butter. I’ve never used any grinding disc that works like these. I watched videos on these and how they work and I was impressed with how true the advertising was. I grinded through my welds with ease. They aren’t cheap but the time and effort using them was way above my expectations and worth every penny I paid for them. If your trying to remove and smooth welds of any kind, try these. They are ridiculously fast and easy to clean up nasty ugly welds.

These disks are far superior to anything I can buy locally. Easily are twice as fast at grinding as normal disks. Note - they will leave a rougher surface due to their aggressive grind, so you might need to finish with a normal disk
