I enjoyed using this wheel to clean up some bricks by removing old mortar and flattening concrete. It makes short work of mortar and grinds concrete very quickly. A very good tool

I'd never used a diamond wheel or a grinder before, so it's hard to compare this to more expensive products, but I can say it did my job very well, and very quickly. As others have stated, this thing takes off a lot of material quickly. I was able to grind out about an 1/8" inch to level a door entry way. Lots of high spots and craters in that small area that joined multiple concrete pours, but it's mostly smooth and level now. It worked very well and left a pretty decent finish behind. I did accidently gouge the heck out of one spot of the floor because I was trying to get right up to the door jamb. I could probably smooth it out better if I removed the trim, but I can live with it a lot better than what I was dealing with initially. Bottom line, this works great for small jobs that require a fair amount of leveling. Not sure how long it would hold up on a larger job. I'm happy, though.

I have a brushless battery powered angle grinder I got this for. I have a big 7" grinder I use when doing entire floors but this smaller one is fantastic for just little areas that need leveling and corrners that the bigger one has a hard time getting to. This one is nice because it takes a little bit more pressure to remove a lot so you have very accurate control as to how much you are removing where the 7" will just eat through everything if you're not careful. Ive used it with concrete and wood subfloors and it works great for both. I wouldn't use it for massive jobs though im sure you could but it serves its purpose and does a great job at it.

Good value only if you have a relatively small job. I needed to grind a concrete walkway but the diamond heads wore out by the 3rd slab. You always get what you pay for.

As part of a basement a DIY waterproofing project I bought this to rough-up 8-10" of both my basement floor and wall where they meet. Floor is slab. Wall is block. This wheel worked great. It is so aggressive I had to lighten the pressure I applied to avoid grinding grooves into the floor. With the included spacer it fit my Harbor Freight Drill Master angle grinder perfectly.WORD OF CAUTION: Grinding concrete creates MASSIVE amounts of silica-laden dust. Not only it is a mess, it is a real health hazard to breathe this stuff. That being said please wear a good respirator and fit your grinder with a cowl connected to a vacuum. You won't regent this extra effort.

I had some cracks in my garage floor and sections "slabs" heaved up wards and I could not role my shop chair around with out coming to a dead stop! frustrating! This took care of all that. I have ground out the up heaves to be flush and smooth now I role over them like they were not even there. Just what I was looking for.Heck it was kind of fun even. I also did a little rock carving just for the heck of it just to see what I could do :)P.S. WEAR A GOOD DUST MASK! you'll need it if inside like ohh... a garage LOL

Used this to sand concrete down on a base for a garden shed. I used this dry and wore a mask as there is fantastic amount of dust- this disc really eats the concrete so be careful how much pressure you use. Didnt want to use wet (applying water) as some reviewers have done... electricity is not to be messed with!

I needed to shave about 6 mm off my garage floor to shut the door properly. This disk did it with ease and looking at the blades afterwards, you would not know I had used it.
