Used this under a 1930's style dress. Soft, not itchy at all! Nice and poofy! The tie in the front is just for looks, it is not functional and you can not tighten the waist. My waist is 34 and it fit fine without slipping down. I am 5'4" and It hit about an inch or 2 below my knee when worn right around my natural waist. So I pulled it down a bit so it would show under my dress about 3-4 inches below my knee.

The skirt looks as pictured but be careful it's not the most well crafted garment. The tulle layers are very delicate and the underskirt fits a bit more snug than I was expecting. I ended up cutting out the underskirt and modifying it a bit to work for me.

Quality was not great, the ruffle was coming off but I still wore it. The ripped piece hung a little lower than the rest of the skirt so it was noticeable. As others have said the slip is so tight and runs small, I cut it out but if you do that the skirt is see through so it can only be worn under a dress. The waist is elastic and comfortable. Looks good worn under a dress and has great movement.

Quality is not what I expected. This item also runs small, so be sure to size up. I’ve purchased a similar skirt from another seller and the quality and sizing was much better.

Perfect for under my 1950s dress to add the volume I wanted. I was a little concerned that it wouldn’t fit, but I (size 16/18) can wear it fine. I may be at the top end of the spectrum though, I don’t think it would go much larger.
