Talk about lighting up the outside! These lights are easy to install and aesthetically pleasing. They’re so bright that they light up everything and more than I expected. They’re also easy to control, aim, and light exactly what you need. Hue has another win!

I started with lights in the backyard and if they turned out good then I would put them in the front yard. They looked so great in the back I bought more to put in the front but I was a little worried that the hub would be too far to recognize the lights since the hub sits at the back of the house. This is why you go with Phillips Hue, it reached the front yard no problem and the lights in the front look as good as the back. Now with Halloween around the corner I won't have to put gels over my other outdoor lights to make it spooky, just tap the scene I want, done! I've seen other posts around about the weather seal so time will tell. From a product perspective the lights feel solid and operate flawlessly as expected. I have a total of 50 lights between the back and the front yard and couldn't be more happy with the purchase!

I'm a bit of a Phillips Hue addict so I was really excited to add some much needed accent lighting to the front of my house. I love that all my exterior lights are now automated and linked to to my Hue sensors.After reading the reviews and noting lots of comments about having to replace faulty T-connectors I proactively wrapped each connection with black electric tape in an effort to prevent water damage/corrosion to the metal pins. Only time will tell if it works, but I'll just sit back and enjoy the view for now. These are pricey, but I was able to find these on sale and even when adding an additional lamp it was still a slightly better price then the 4pack at Costco.

I love Philips Hue, have loved them from the start and I was super excited to get outdoor versions when they came out. I was very surprised by the price of these lights. $200 for a single light is a little crazy in my opinion but I purchased 11 out door lights anyway. They were great for about 11 months or so, then one light suddenly wouldn’t stop flashing like a strobe light. Took the out of the daisy chain connection which completely screwed up my entire configuration, and found that despite how tight I had it on, water must have made its way into the t-connectors and cause rust and the pins were broken off completely. I got a replacement then a couple weeks goes by and another light, same issue, then another. Well now 4 out of my original 11 are non functional. That’s almost $800 in lights that barely made it a year. For that kind of money I’m a bit disappointed in the quality max needless to say that as they die I won’t be replacing them any longer, and probably going to look into more affordable brands. Maybe if they redesign the connection type and also find a better way for them to connect together, I might consider trying them again down the road. But reconfiguring was a headache in its self. Do I think they’re make great products,? Yes! Do I still love my indoors hue lights? Yes! I just don’t recommend the any of the outdoor lights, period. In fact, I have a standard color hue in my outdoor front porch light, even though it says not to do that but that light is gong strong for 3 years now….

Just recently started adding some Philips Hue bulbs in our house and decided to go all in with the Philips Hue ecosystem.These lamps and the cables feel very high quality. I planned on just using them for holiday lights but may use them (and add more) for year round landscape lighting.The lights are great but the hub and app are really what make them shine. From the color settings, to the pre-installed themes, the ability to customize themes, the lighting effects (which they keep adding), and the automations, they do everything and you will feel good about spending a few extra dollars compared to other products.I'm a Philips Hue fan!

I have tons of Hue products. I bought a few more extensions here now that they are available. Everything else came from Dell.com as they were the only people to have them in stock.Anyway, typical hue light.....but they are water proof and made for outdoors! I was looking to get some landscape lights installed and the cost was crazy just for your basic lights. Now I have good quality lights that I can make almost any color in the world! July 4th, RWB. Christmas, GWR. Endless possibilities. Individual brightness color settings. Normal light rest of the time. App control and timers. Neighbors are jealous. You need the hub and power supply. The power supply can handle up to 5 lights, so the base kit has 3 lights and you can add 2 extensions. I have 15 outdoor lights. Yes they are expensive, but the functionality and ease of install compared to normal landscape lights is great.

Gran producto, pero cuidado es una extensión, le falta la pieza que lo conecta a la corriente eléctrica y que tiene el módulo de transmisión wireless. Ese cable NO se vende por separado. Cómpra esta lámpara solo si ya tienes alguna lámpara de exterior de Philips Hue, como la torre o como la versión con 3 estás lámparas pero que sà tiene el conector de corriente.Si ya tienes cómo conectarlo a corriente, es un gran producto, de gran calidad.

We have three of these spot lights and one stopped working. We have had these lights for over 10 years. I think because I had it straight up some water must have gotten in. These are great light and would recommend them 100%.

La lampara en si es muy buena, el problema es que no se puede conectar a la corriente, cosa que no te avisan al momento de comprarla, NECESITAS EL CONECTOR, y no lo eh podido conseguir en ningún lado, no se como es posible que te vendan un producto que necesite de otro para poder conectarse a la corriente, al parecer la única manera de hacerlo funcionar es comprando otra lampara de HUE que ya incluye el conector a la corriente y cuesta 5,000 pesos.Definitivamente me arrepiento de la compra, tratare de regresarlo a ver si es posible. NO LO COMPREN al menos que ya tengan el adaptador para la corriente, si ya lo tienen, pues entonces adelante.
