Really happy I got this pedometer! I already have the red one and I really love it but I think I might like this one even more. It doesn't perform any better than the other, they're both just as good but I like that this one is black because it doesn't stand out as much as the bright red one does which is nice when I'm in a more professional setting. Anyway, just like the last one it came on time, nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online. I've been tracking EVERYTHING lately in an attempt to lose weight and get healthier but I realized a few weeks ago that it just wasn't possible to track my activity accurately without a pedometer so I got the red one and absolutely fell in love. It's small and lightweight which I like a lot because I don't notice it when I'm wearing it. Depending on what I'm wearing that day, I'll just clip it onto my shirt or pants and forget about it until the end of the night when it's time to log my numbers. If I have something important to do i'll usually stuff it into my back pocket or clip it onto my bra so nobody sees it but now that I have this black one it will be much easier to hide when I need or want to. They're very easy to use, too. I like that I don't need an additional app because I hate using up all that space on my phone and it's so much simpler this way. I'm really liking both of them and I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in tracking their steps, distance, or calories burned!

Was so excited to receive this pedometer. Unfortunately it was short lived excitement. Read the instruction page and clipped the Pingko pedometer on my belt. it seemed to count steps with no issue the first day, though I did not compare to anything. Partway through the second day I looked and saw only 294 steps. That seemed oddly low. I asked my husband how many steps his tracker recorded... over 5000. We had walked together so clearly something was off. The third day It did not count steps at all. I returned the product. Disappointed.

This product is a bargain, but would be a bargain even at a higher price. The instructions are very clear, and make it easy to program the pedometer to your specifications. The display is large and very visible, even in daylight. The set, mode and reset buttons are large enough so that using them is not a problem. The pedometer counts steps, distance traveled, and calories expended. The pedometer's default mode is to display the time. It does not, however, calculate the time used in the exercise session. I do that by simply bringing my smart phone on my walk and using its timer. I have only used this pedometer for walking. The instructions suggest clipping it to your waistband while exercising, but when I did that it did not register the steps. The solution is to clip it to your pocket, where it is closer to the hip motion and records quite easilyI had earlier purchased a Boxmy Fitness Tracker from Amazon. The instructions were so incomprehensible that I immediately returned it without ever using it.For my walking regimen, this Pingko is an ideal product. I highly recommend it.

To start, I was looking for a pedometer that did not require a smartphone app, that was not a watch, and didn't break the bank, particularly if it fell off my jeans and I didn't see it to retrieve it.The features of pedometer, calorie counter, distance walked (miles or km), and time clock are all very helpful and seem to do well. I compared it against a fitness wrist watch, (Fitbit of some sort I had borrowed) and it seems to be more accurate than the Fitbit. The Fitbit depends on arm motions to count steps, which means that the Fitbit may not count when your arms are stable pushing a cart/stroller, but the Fitbit may also count in error when you are standing relatively in one position (such as bagging groceries and primarily rotating at the waist, or working at an office table collating papers).I came to rely on the accuracy of my pedometer moreso than the Fitbit watch and the pedometer seemed to count my steps well. I came to appreciate the time clock feature as I normally don't wear a watch at work (I find myself working in a lot of water, sometimes with chemicals/cleaners/dirt). I was also able to earn steps for short walks that the Fitbit didn't always measure, like returning items close by to proper shelves.I did have a couple of issues with the pedometer resetting unexpectedly when I leaned against counters (moving to scan or bag groceries, for instance). I was sad that I lost the steps but I made some adjustments to how I wore it (waistband position) and checked on it more frequently to keep closer track of steps walked (in case it reset) and that seemed to help.About 3 weeks into using it I tried to tilt it up on my waistband to read it, as I had done many times before, and ended up snapping the clip and losing a couple of spring-type pieces that helped it clip (probably - I was in a dark environment at the time and relied on streetlights to find what parts I could). That was disappointing but ultimately my fault / mishap.I thought perhaps I would get an "upgrade" to a pedometer with cover, as I have seen them before. However, all the pedometers with covers I've found so far either didn't have the features of the Pingko (steps taken, calories burned, distance covered, time clock, which I had begun to appreciate); and/or weren't in my budget, and/or didn't have a lot of favorable reviews. So, I ended up buying a second Pingko pedometer, and we'll see how long the second one lasts before it has a permanent mishap.P.S. The Pingko had fallen off my waistband a few times prior, usually onto a hard concrete floor (from a height of about 33 inches) -- and made it just fine (still working). It was simply the way I tilted it that night, I think, that broke the clip.In conclusion - I am impressed with the features, the price point, the seeming accuracy, and -- gosh darn it absolutely -- the fact that I do not need a mobile app or a smartphone to use this. Whoo hoo! So I am buying another for now and then we'll reevaluate when needed.

First the good news. It is one of the most accurate pedometers I ever owned especially when I walk around indoors. The bad news is the design-construction quality. When ever I pressed the pedometer to clip it on my belt or where ever, it flexes the pedometer's plastic body which sets the reading to zero. For 5 days in a row, I never got to see the final reading without a reset to zero during the day. What was even more upsetting was that the pedometer worked for less than a week before the electronics completely failed.

I can’t wear those ‘smart’ watches because they ‘burn’ or irritate my arm where the signal light is, so this is a perfect solution for step counting. (It’s close enough, none i found are exact!) all digits are large and easy to read and the clock is nice to have because I don’t wear a watch.
