Love them! Not completely silent, but what is? They're great! Function well and seem basically indestructible. I've added neoprene pads to the tops of the cymbals to take off some of the sound but that was preference, not necessary. I like to practice at night sometime so I wanted to make sure they were as quiet as possible. Pares very well with the DW go practice kit. But also works equally as well with practice pads over drums and replacing your cymbals with these. Amazing!

Hello to everyone. The product came to Turkey in 1 week. I have not tested it yet, but I am quite satisfied. It's lighter and quieter then I thought. But the sound is a bit too much to hit with tip of drum stick. You may need a silencer as an extra layer. Anyway, I recommend for custom made e-drum builders !

You are probably better off playing repurposed frisbees. The top hi-hat actually inverted when I stomped the pedal. There is no feel or rebound to these, at all, and they are actually louder than my Sabian low-volume cymbals. The only positive was I could hear the 8th notes I was playing loud and clear, cutting through my noise canceling headphones. I could hear I was playing clean.Would not recommend for any practice situation where you are trying to keep quiet, like an apartment. Save your money, get a set of proper low volume cymbals and mute those, if necessary. These are trash.

These practice cymbals are made just like some others (different brand) that I have had for 25 years. They "ARE" virtually indestructible to a point. You probably shouldn't run over them with a truck or throw them in a fire LOL! I turned my first ones into single zone electronic cymbals and that is what these will be used for as well. Some folks have said they are "Too Loud" Well, if your neighbors are disturbed by the small amount of noise these create by smacking them with a wooden stick, when compared to a 16" Zildjian crash cymbal, then maybe you live a little to close to the neighbors... just saying! Any cymbal can be silent, just don't hit it! LOL!

Great value for the money, but still pretty loud. Definitely much quieter than real cymbals, and good alternative for use in my basement. Probably not a good choice for an apartment.

They aren't as loud as an actual cymbal, but there's nothing quiet about these. They are fairly hard plastic. Hitting a stick against plastic is LOUD.I had to make home made pads to attach to them for them to serve their purpose.I wouldn't suggest purchasing them for low volume playing.

I enhanced the DW Smart Practice rig with the Pintech five-piece practice cymbal kit (mounted on my original cymbal hardware), further deadened the sound of the whole lot with Vic Firth mutes, and rubber banded an old doubled-up sock to the bass drum pad (two thick-a** bands on either end of the sock) to complete the assembly. Yes, I was able to operate my Tama double kick pedal with plenty of space to spare on the bass drum pad. Wish I had considered this apartment-friendly solution years ago. Oh, by the way, to fit my existing bass pedal more snugly to the rig, I just doubled up a piece of cardboard and wedged that glorious mother f***er right in there. Beautiful. Let's rock.

Beware - these cymbals are plastic. Not rubber as I had anticipated.
