They seem nervous to go in but they love chewing on it! Sturdy and smooth. Difficult to install but I think it's just the way I had it. Beautifullly matched the other toys and the hole was a perfect size.

Buying this birdhouse seemed like a good good place my bird could take shelter from the wind. During the summer we place him out on the outside deck. This was easy to install in a few minutes. I watched for serval days, but never saw the bird go inside. After a week I notice part of the roof missing. The bird was chipping away the top corner. After a month I finally had remove the wooden house. He had chew a good portion of the top opening away and side wall. Although it didn't serve as a shelter he did love it as a chew toy.

Got this box a while ago for our parakeets. The box is fine honestly. The birds loved it! One of our females actually laid eggs in it. :)The only downfall to this box is that our screws got real loose after some time, but overall for the price I’d probably just buy another one

After the baby parakeets grow big enough and too tight in the shell, I move them into the box where they cuddle, and daddy feeds them, and they get to explore outside of the box. I just wish there was a better way to clean inside.

My mother parakeet made her nest as soon as I placed the nest box in her cage. The parakeet knew just what it was. The day I put the nest box in her cage is the day my mother parakeet used it. 🦜âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸
