I bought these to fix the screen on a screen door that had started to detach. These tacks work great and look stylish on the front of the screen door. Very easy to use with a hammer and holding up well to the elements while keeping my screen in place.

Ugh. Where do I begin? They aren't sharp. They bend when you strike them. Then IF you get them started, the heads fall off. Some fall off after they're already in the wood...and I didn't even have real wood..just the manufactured softer version of wood. Ended up with a pile of broken ones and twice as many used...in case they fall apart even more..which I envision them doing. Seriously..how bad can you mess up making tacks? THIS BAD!!!

I was happy to find these domed furniture accent tacks for the project I doing as they were a great price and the exact color and size I needed. However, I am returning these for several reasons.1. After I opened the package I noticed more than a few dozen were bent and not usable for safety reasons. 2. After inspecting the straight ones, I noticed more than half were coming apart at the top where the dome meetsthe tack nail. I tried to tack one with minimal force and it came apart immediately.These are not well made and very cheap. You get what you pay for.

I ordered these tacks for a woodworking gift project for a family member. They look great but the cap heads popped off the nail the very first time I tried them. Even when I tapped them in gently with a tack hammer. They’re essentially useless and certainly not worth the higher cost compared to what you can buy at a big box.
