This is a wonderful pizelle maker! 4 at a time, 4" in diameter. Once the eggs are at room temperature and your butter is melted and cooled, it takes less than an hour from start to finish. My baking time is 2 minutes. They are slightly browned. I'm making a half recipe, and that makes about 22 pizelles. And remember, if you have any oops , you are sprinkling them with powdered sugar.

The cookies are very very thin, and they do not cook uniformly - they come out marbled. Because they are so thin, they were too fragile to remove without tearing.

I got this iron because it makes 4 at a time, unlike the Cuisinart one my mom has. In a side by side comparison, the old machine made a thicker cookie and the overflow was easier to peel off without damaging the cookie. The cookies with this machine were very thin, the batter spread to connect with the other molds and the breakage was too much. Will have to keep borrowing my moms machine.

Burns the Pizzelle along the heating element before the other part cooks. Left side is this machine, the right side is another machine. You can see the shape of the heating element burn on the cookies.

I followed instructions to lightly oil before using. The cookies easily came up. Maybe it depends upon recipe, but mine baked for one minute. I highly recommend
