Arrived next day in great condition. Just hooked it up with the enclosed clear pictoral instructions and it works like a charm. Plantronics did inform me (their price 69.99 vs amazon 35) that they will not support it if not purchased directly. That would be the only downfall. This is used in lieu of a lifter so that you can answer using your headset AWAY from your phone. .

Works perfectly with my Cisco 8800 phone. The Plantronics headset with this adapter cable is a huge time saver while working from home. It gives me the ability to answer calls within 300 or more feet from the phone.

This headset must have a shortage in the wiring. It literally hangs up within a minute into a phone call. I bought this for work and was excited to not have to hold the phone receiver while typing. This was a waste of money which is surprising considering this company has always produced great products.

It seems like the APC-43 is a new version that replaces the APC-42 and the APC-41. We were having some trouble with a Cisco 7975 working consistently with the APC-42, but it works great with this APC-43. We had no issues and it was plug and play with our Plantronics headset (we already had hookswitch on on the phone). Very happy!

We used to have the mechanism that lifted the phone in order to receive a call on the headset. We were constantly having to re-tape it to the phone. This is much better because it does not require the phone to be lifted.

When you buy a Plantronics headset remember that you likely need one of these for the headset to be able to control the phone. Works very well.
