I bought this for a more utilitarian purpose (to hold a lithium battery while camping) but use it on my bookshelf as well to display books, framed photos etc. love it! You could use it to hold a cookbook while cooking probably too!

Stands are perfect for holding up a decorative large plate. The only disappointment was the color they appear gold in the picture and they’re just an ugly mustard yellow.
