I order this line from USA to Australia because I haven't found anything that comes close locally. It's relatively thin for it's strength, I have good casting distance with it (with my specific gear). Its strength is super strong, so much so.. that when I am snagged and want to break the line.. it's often hard to do it, especially when it's brand new. And most importantly it has great abrasion resistance and has landed me many large fish, that I otherwise might have lost. In some cases, I definitely would have lost them. I fish with baitrunner reels with large baits in reefy/rocky areas and often when I land the fish, there's many scuff marks on the line.. but the strength still holds. And I'm even able to lean on the line while the fish is on the other side of the rock and pull the fish (around the rocks). It's not magic, it can't hold if the line hits a part of the rock that has barnacles or oysters.. but generally it works really well. It's 15lb but it feels like 20lb. I've pulled 80cm Snapper (5kg) out of the rocks with this line. Even with a locked drag, you can really muscle the fish with this line. Sometimes sharks teeth cut my leader, sometimes I get unlucky where a large fish will take me into oysters.. but for what it is.. it never feels like this line is a weak link. When it breaks, 90% of the time it's because I had to force it to break. I recommend keeping it fresh and putting new line on often.. not because it needs it but because it's at maximum strength and abrasion resistance and also helps with casting distance when your reel is full with line. These spools with 3000 yards make that easier, and it's great that they come in this bulk quantity.

I got this line in 6lb for trout. I put it on a 1000 size reel and I was very surprised. The casting distance with this stuff is amazing and the strength is definitely there.It’s very light line, you have to pay very close attention to your reel or you may have problems. I will continue to use this line.

I bought this spool because of the low cost to amount line you get as I was tired of spending so much re-spooling my reels every year and have to say it working quite well. I don't fish every single day but tend to go out at least 2 times a week and this has held up pretty well so far. I've got this line on 3 poles so far and haven't had it break on me once. Sensitivity is also very good. I'd recommend this if you aren't looking to spend big money on large filler spools as I can't tell any big differences compared to some more expensive lines out there.

Line appeared to be bad when I got it. No Mayer what knot I tie, the line will break when I pull it tight.
