This is a very well made product, has a stainless steel blade and a clear cover over it to protect your fingers, this one has guides on the sides so you cut down the middle every time, even large bagels fit in the slot ,heavy duty plastic housing keeps it sturdy along with a nice base, it’s easy to clean, this one is much sturdier then other ones out there and my wife uses it a lot she loves her bagel in the morning, I highly recommend this product, see pics.

This slices bagels that aren’t too thick. It is clean and sturdy unit which doesn’t take up much space on the counter. And it goes in the dishwasher!! Pretty good product in my estimation!!

This is an easy machine for slicing bagels and English muffins. One drawback, extra large bagels cannot fit in this slicer, otherwise easy and convenient.

I was worried that this - or any - bagel slicer would have difficulty with the thick bagels that we get from Costco. Not so. It works great, even handling the messy "everything" bagels that I like. (My wife prefers the cinnamon raisin bagels, which are less messy.)One small warning: don't try to slice bagels until they harden a bit, otherwise you get mush.

It really just squashes fresh bagels. We tried a rocking motion to help but, in the end, a good bread knife works so much better. I wish I had returned it when I could have.

I recently stayed at a hotel and used a bagel slicer they had. I loved the convenience so much that I had to find one for my home! This one works very well and is sturdy, too!

The slicing apparatus just squishes the bagel. I used it on fresh bagels and I used it on 2 day old bagels. I followed the directions that came with it. Every attempt I made to slice bagels turned out to squish the bagels. I kept the black plastic holder, though. I bought a good quality bread slicing knife from Amazon,. The black holder is very good to guide the knife when slicing bagels. I threw away the part that had the cutting blade. It was useless.

It is solid, easy to use, easy to clean, we'd recommend the slicer to everyone.
