This clutch cable works just fine in my Husqvarna lawn tractor YTH22V46. The factory cable was frayed after 11 years of service and I went ahead and bought this replacement in November 2022 to have on hand when the original finally let go. Well...it finally did, but not in the frayed area. The spring actually broke. Either way, this replacement was a direct fit, went on with no issues and I was glad to have it on hand. I will be buying another, because at this price point it could be the difference between getting the job done that day or having to drive to the big box hardware store, hoping they have one, and if they do probably spending double for one.Anyone with this model Husqvarna can buy this clutch cable with the full confidence that it will fit without issue.

Took about 20min, I think the previous one broke because the tension arm bushing was put on wrong. I put the wedding cake bushing on first then the arm, flat washer and bolt or nut can’t remember. It was opposite before and seemed like it binded

These mower deck clutch cables are needed to engage the blades to mow. I’m happy they’re available to replace. Unfortunately, the actual wire cable gauge is quite undersized, fray and break easily. As the consumer, I’m sure the manufacturer makes them this way, so they won’t last long. I’m also sure, the wire gauge could be increased to allow a longer life of use. This will be the third cable I’ve replaced on my deck in under ten years. I probably will buy another set or two to have on hand. It makes for a miserable day if it breaks right as your just starting to mow and you’ve got a lot to get done.

This cable fits the Hasqv 46" mower deck. this cable ending in "110" is the correct length. Another cable advertised on Amazon for the YTH22V46 is too short by 3-4". That was irritating. Bad labeling in ten description. I suspect it only works on the 42" deck. This cable is about 78". The new cable is nice and tight and fully engages the mower pulley. Blades spinning like new.
