It is easy to be a little lazy when jacking up a vehicle, I'll admit that, stupidly, I've used a number of different materials (pieces of rubber, cardboard, etc) between a bottle jack and the vehicle when doing a quick lift for a tire change to prevent scratching the car (I never go under the vehicle with just a bottle jack in place though!). A product like this support pad is a great, simple, safer solution than my homespun versions. This fits nicely over the bottle jack head and gives firm support, yet has a small amount of flexibility to improve grip. The only thing to mention is make sure you note the size of your bottle jack to make sure the pad will fit. It works on my smaller bottle jacks but did not fit on my 10 ton bottle jack as the plate is around 31.75 mm, bigger than this pad is meant to fit.

I use a bottle jack for lifting my RV when changing tires or adjusting the brakes. The resilience of this cushion solves two problems. It provides friction between the metal of the jack and the metal of the frame so the jack won't slide and it prevents the jack from scratching the paint of the frame. Lifting one side of my trailer is about 2000 pounds and the disk didn't collapse under the weight. Since the jack won't scratch the paint on the trailer frame there's less rust on the frame to worry about. The cushion doesn't fit tightly onto the jack's lifting point however. It can fall off but once the cusion is in contact with the frame it stays in position. It's strong, good quality material. A little expensive for a plastic puck.

I have a small car I need to lift up and the jack pad is a much better option when using with my floor jack. I 3D printed a little bracket to keep it centered. The support does a nice job of preventing damage to my lifting points on my car.

I was hoping this would be a little bit more heavy duty and substantial. It fits my small bottle jack very well but it doesn’t seem like there is likely to be much strength where it matters most, right around the center part where the jack pressure will be and where it connects to the rest of the pad. I believe I’ll feel more comfortable sticking with the solid steel adapter that I was using before.

Product arrived quickly! This is helpful when needing to lift the engines on front wheel drive cars to change motor mounts and sometimes to assist in replacing bushings and supporting suspension while working. The pad is made of polyethylene and much more durable than rubber which means it will last years before it needs to be replaced. This pad helps to get a secure fit and keeps the jack from marring the bottom of cars. A handy and useful jack pad and comes at a very good price.

Der Außendurchmesser von 60 mm passt leider nicht in den Teller meines Rangierwagenhebers (deutlich zu groß) und der Innendurchmesser von 29 mm passt nicht auf den Stempel meines zweiten hydraulischen Hebers (dafür zu klein). Das Material ist so steif, dass man es nur schwerlich anpsssen kann (würde mit der Bügelsäge ewig dauern). Also unbedingt vor dem Kauf gut messen.10 € sind aber auch recht teuer für eine einfache Kunststoffscheibe!

Die Auflage aus Polyethylen ist wie das Material schon verrät sehr stabil. Sie sitzt sehr gut auf meinem Wagenheber und bisher scheint sie ihren Dienst wie gewünscht zu tun. Wenn sich Materialermüdung zeigen sollte, werde ich meine Bewertung allerdings noch anpassen.

Die Notwendigkeit der Anschaffung dieser Auflage resultierte aus dem Bruch der Originalauflage, welche für den Einsatz mit dem Rangierwagenheber konzipiert war. Die wiederholte Anwendung hat die Funktionalität der Auflage bestätigt. Sie zeichnet sich durch eine angemessene Festigkeit aus, ohne jedoch die Beweglichkeit zu beeinträchtigen, was das Verrutschen verhindert und die Beschädigung des Fahrzeugblechs verhindert. In Anbetracht der genannten Faktoren kann eine eindeutige Kaufempfehlung ausgesprochen werden.
