Cabinet installation can be a bear, but this clamp set makes it more than bearable. The unique design is like another pair of hands that grip while you align and tighten the stiles, pre-drill and fasten, and the clamps stay put through the entire process. We like the professional quality: lightweight but rugged aluminum claws and alignment plates, protective rubber pads that won’t mar your work, 1/2-inch diameter zinc-plated, cold-drawn steel screws with smooth Acme threads. The plastic handles even have grooves for a great grip. These clamps will work with stiles from 1-1/2 to 2 inches wide and up to an impressive 1-1/2 inches thick. We think it’s well worth the price if you’re working alone, whether you’re a professional or a home do-it-yourselfer.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

I've had a set of 4 of the originals for more than 20 years. Had a big cabinet job and decided to buy another set of 4. They work as well as the originals, but have some differences. The new clamps have "t" handles , where the originals have a straight handle. The "T" handles are a little easier to use in some situations and are a little more compact .But I believe the screw tolerances are looser on the new models, hasn't been an issue up to this point. At this point I am very satisfied with the new clamps and will use them extensively. These are pretty much a must have if you are installing cabinets.

Love these clamps. The window is great for being able to drill the hole in the area that the clamp would normally take up, having the guide to drill straight is an added bonus. Other clamps you’d have to drill above or below it. If you’re install cabinets with the door hinges still on some time you’d have to secure it further from the top or bottom then you’d like, but these you can right where you put the clamp. Smooth closing and opening, and the face clamp works great for getting the cabinet faces perfectly lined up as you secure them. Must have for kitchen installers. Some times wish they would make a smaller version for when you are adding on a filler piece, if it’s only a 1/2 or 1 inch pieces the clamp doesn’t close enough for it to work.

Makes alignment of cabinet face frames a snap. The drill and screw guide is a great bonus. Well thought out!

I'm very much a reno novice, but I've been remodeling my office. I was installing new cabinets along the wall, and these tools allowed me to get everything aligned, secured, and looking great. We painted the cabinets, and it's nearly impossible to tell a gap existed between them. If you're a beginner, or just want to ensure you're accurate with each hole, these are a great help. I didn't split any of the edges or have any holes that were uneven across cabinets. It's a bit of a learning game with the tightness. The padding is thin, so, depending on the wood you're using, you'll want to be careful cranking them. Sometimes, I would slide a thin cloth or something similar between the tool and wood. I ended up with no marks or indentations.

Work very well and simplified cabinet installation. Take your time and ensure everything is lined up properly before drilling pilot holes for screws to avoid any oops moments.

Great tool for joining cabinets, allows you to pull the sides together, align the face, drill a pilot hole, and drive in a screw without having to adjust anything. Got them on sale price but worth it not matter what the price if you have cabinets to install.

I'm just going to write this review on behalf of my husband LOL he is a Carpenter and he's been using these quite a bit lately he seems to really like them they work really well considering we are redoing our kitchen and we've been using them the whole time and he did mention that he likes that it has the soft padding stuff on the inside which also cushions the clamp but doesn't loosen the grip or cause any damage
