Works just as described, but I went through 2 tests to get a result. the first strip was a dud. Ill keep testing monthly.

We own a pool company servicing vacation rental properties and there was a renter checking in that was having chemo therapy and could not swim in a pool with bacteria. We ordered these test strips so we could test the pool daily according to her doctor's instructions and these worked amazingly well. They were easy to use and saved the day! If you need it, there is also a how to video on You Tube you could watch! Will definitely order again should be need arise.

I’m a retired lab technician. I have a professional degree. I know how to run many lab tests. The instructions on this are straightforward. The instructions are clear. All necessary reagents and instruments are provided: a vial with reagent in the bottom and a sample pipette to deliver the correct amount of your sample water.But the tests do not work. I blew through half the box today, as my order arrived yesterday while I was working, and never even had a control line pop up. I quit because I was becoming frustrated.I ordered these tests because my kids all had swimmer’s ear, and the doctor wondered if it was from our pool or another body of water we have used recently. I still don’t know as I can’t get any tests to work!

One of the tube for collecting the water sample had. Agile in it making that whole test strip unusable. I have used four plus that one, not sure if any other test modules will have. A hole in the tube or not but not worth the return process. Just beware that out of the 10, you’ll have at least seven good ones maybe.

We (our pool committee) use this product as a back up to the pool management companies maintenance / chemical control. We do a test once a week. We found 1 week last summer that there was a bad imbalance in the chemicals because of this test....thus we closed the pool for a day to shock and treat the water. We started using this test because we had a large number of children in the neighborhood with swimmers ear and we were suspicious that the pool was not being maintained correctly. The technique for using this product is very specific. You MUST wash your hands and follow the directions carefully! Use a phone to time each step, etc. If you do, you will get accurate results. Whenever I get a positive (positive for bacteria) or blank result (erroneous) result I do a second test to be extra sure. Two positives is an automatic pool closing.

I liked the product when texting my pool water it came up negative within the first 10-15 min. But when I left it longer then that. It eventually turned positive. So don’t know which results to believe.

Not reliable product. Ran 2 tests that showed positive for bacteria in hot tub. Emptied, sanitized and thoroughly rinsed tub. Ran another test and got same result. Expensive unreliable product
