I bought this filter because it was $10 cheaper than the brand I normally buy, and it was a terrible mistake. This filter started giving me problems after only three months, and after six months it barely worked, even when I cleaned it with the hose every day. My old filters would last nearly two years with weekly cleanings. When I replaced this with my old brand of filter again, the difference was night and day.
