I am on a quest to find a new water feature for my fountain on my apartment patio. I think I was way too ambitious with this one. BUT! I'm not giving up! This spillway feels very solid and a little heavy - like, this is some professional grade spillways here. I got the silver with the light. I haven't been able to make it work yet, but that's not the product, that's me trying to adapt it. It's nice to feel like you can DIY with super professional look. 10/10

This spill over works great. I dont love the connection fittings, but the water flows nicely over the edge. The black finish is holding up well. Definitely pricey for what you get, but it's what you will spend on any decent spillover setup. The size worked out great. We ended up using 2 for a nicer looking feature. The wider versions of these are nice, but this version gives the ability to give a more unique looking water feature(if you use multiple spill-overs).

I found this waterfall very easy to install all by myself. This replaces a 14 inch wide waterfall that was just kind of unimpressive. For my installation, I lifted up my rubber liner and put bricks underneath it to support the waterfall front and back. I am a do it yourselfer, so my pond and installations are nothing fancy! The waterfall comes with two lengths of hose and I screwed both of them into the back of the waterfall in the pre-drilled holes, using the fittings provided. The other ends went to the T-fitting with the pump hose attaching to the other side of the T- fitting. This is a 36 inch waterfall and it should have a more powerful pump, I am using a 2400 GPH pump. it looks OK, but a more powerful pump would be even better! You do need to make sure your waterfall is level so your water comes out evenly. They provide waterproof tape to wrap around the fittings for when you screw them in, and be sure to use this or it will leak a little bit. Ask me how I know. I also used the included hose clamps on everything, although they do fit snuggly on their own. I did not get the LED lighting because I figured that was just one more thing to go wrong. For now I just stacked rocks around it, and if I get the itch, I may pull it apart and do something more fancy. I should mention how happy I was to open the box and see all the fittings, If you are a pond geek like me, you know how delightful it is to have extra fittings laying around, because you never know what you’re going to think of doing next! The picture is taken through the pond net that I have to leave on because we have hungry herons Ask me how I know. 😒 In case you are wondering, the big Koi in the picture is 24 inches long and she successfully spawned for the second time in three years so I have about a dozen baby Koi along with all the baby goldfish that never seem to stop spawning. I am happy with this waterfall fixture and I am already planning how to improve my installation to do it justice!

This is a well-made spillway constructed of solid stainless steel thick enough to be stable without being too heavy and difficult to work with. Just add a sufficiently powerful pump and hide the piping with rocks and you can save yourself a whole lot of work and money trying to rip out and rebuild a retaining wall next to your pond. It comes with all the pieces and parts necessary to install it.I LOVE the lighting! At night, with the pond lighting on, the lights in the spillway light up the waterfall into the pond beautifully. The ambiance it adds in low-light situations is wonderful. Using a 5000 lph water pump, it easily drives the waterfall from 2 feet above the pond surface, and the wavy edge gives you a smooth waterfall.I wish this waterfall had integration with Alexa to control the lighting, but I wired the water pump and lighting to waterproof outdoor-ready power controls that let me turn it off as part of an Alexa scene or voice command. The phone app is actually quite good, and the remote control gives you command of lighting to do about anything you would like.The key piece in installation is making sure the spillway is ABSOLUTELY level from left to right, if not, the flow looks patchy and off-balance. Test fit and try out the spillway before you do fit and finish on the installation - you'll be unhappy if you don't.I take a star off for the lack of Alexa control of lighting, but other than that, this is a great option for adding a waterfall to an existing pond or pool. It is solid, attractive, and highly functional - and will greatly improve the ambiance wherever it is used. Recommended.

I purchased this pond waterfall for an outdoor pond I’m in the process of making. The design is sleek and modern and looks just like the ad. It comes with all of the necessary hardware for installation and instructions. Seems durable and it’s the perfect size for my pond. Does not come with any lights, but I was aware and that’s fine. Good buy.
