I find it puzzling that some individuals have expressed dissatisfaction with this hat. One drawback, however, is that the feather included was quite messy and ended up shedding onto the hat, which ultimately led me to discard it. Initially, I was uncertain about how to position the feather while wearing the hat. At first, it may feel a bit uncomfortable, but as you continue to wear it, it gradually conforms to your head, creating a surprisingly comfortable fit. It feels almost as if you’re not wearing anything at all. The hat is lightweight and has an appealing shape. Although I didn’t expect it to be a pork pie hat based on the images and how others styled it, I find the shape to be quite attractive. If you opt for a large size, the fit is excellent; I cannot speak to the fit of the small size. Regarding its ability to retain shape, I am uncertain; I likely wouldn’t wear it in the rain. Overall, this hat is a fantastic deal!

I have been told many times that I look like Walter White (as I wear a black pork pie). I wear many hats, etc. So I figured I'd get a new one to add to my collection.It is soft felt, but firm to hold shape. Well made! I brushed it with my felt hat brush (also from Amazon) and it cleans up nicely. The style is spot on. Best of all, for me, is the sizing was right. I usually fall between sizes and have to use sizing pads for a good fit.I recommend this to anyone wanting to expand their wardrobe!

As others have noted in reviews, the hat is really poorly packaged. If I showed you my received hat it was badly smashed, but surprisingly a simple push back inside the hat and it puffed up wrinkle/crease free.I thought it was surely gonna need a refund, but no. It was amazingly fresh looking.I did order a Medium, and got a Large which was disappointing. It was meant to be a gift, but I kept it myself and ordered another in right size.

My fitted baseball cap size is 7 5/8 so I was concerned that this might not fit but it does! It’s a very nice hat and the feather is not attached when it is delivered. It’s in a separate little bag so anyone worried about that or how to remove it you don’t have to if you don’t want it

It’s a soft comfortable black hat. My hat size is 7 5/8 and so I ordered the large and it fits perfectly. My wife really likes the style. Before I bought the hat, strangers would approach me and tell me that I looked like Walter White. I didn’t know what they were talking about as I had not seen the series Breaking Bad. So I ordered the hat once I saw what Walter looked like. My wife gets very amused by all the attention from people who we have never met before.

PROS: Item arrived a little early. Liked that. The hat itself is generally pretty good, looks nice has decent quality for the price point but has some issues that detract from the over all hat experience. Nonetheless, decided to keep the hat and make it work even though the hat size was too large (even after following the size chart the seller had up on the page).CONS: Hat arrived in a large box with three other items in same Amazon order. Problem was, hat was poorly prepared/packaged for shipping. Meaning: no hard cardboard or stiff plastic “form†surrounding the hat to insure it didn’t get crushed in shipping. Hat was simply placed into a plastic bag and there was one piece of lightweight cardboard that wrapped around the hat band.As luck would have it, the top of the hat was caved in a bit when it arrived because (did not know this when ordering) the hat is made from very soft 100% wool and there is no stiffness to the hat at all. You could crush it in one hand down to the size of a baseball if you wanted to.However, I was able to pop out the crush and bring it back to form. Regarding size being too big: had some material here that I was able to cut and glue into the inside of the headband in order to make the hat fit as I did not want to return it and get next size down for fear the replacement one would be too small, since the “large†sizing was off a bit.Also took some spray starch and gave the hat two good coatings, drying each coat good with a hot hair dryer in order to give the hat a bit of “body†to keep its form intact a bit, which it needs to have.In terms of the feather that comes with the hat, well it is not on the hat as shown in the pictures. It comes separate and you have to glue it into the hat band yourself. No instructions on where or how, you just wing it.So we give the hat THREE STARS over all for: (1) sub par packaging (2) poor sizing chart (3) hat being very soft and flimsy with no stiffness at all and (4) having to glue the feather on rather than it coming that way from the factory.Overall though, I like the hat which is why I kept it and made it work despite the above noted downsides.

It's a pity that the wool is too soft andthe hat is not very stable.I also buyed a wool trilby for five bucks last year which is more stable. This pork pie is nice for the showcase.

El sombrero es de buena calidad y buenos acabados pero venÃa aplastado, mal por el vendedor que solo lo envÃo en una bolsa (lo cual no evita que se maltrate) y peor por la paqueterÃa que no lo entrego a una persona, solo lo metió por una rendija y talvez ahà se maltrató... Pensé devolverlo, pero tenÃa que hacer uso de él
