You can block out 100% of the light if you take enough time placing the sticky/velcro pieces in the correct spot. Wish I would have bought these before

All the tools were provided for cutting and measuring, easy to hang. Room temperature cooled immediately. Highly recommend getting this product. I ordered the largest measurement and was able to cover four windows in my house, two smaller ones in the kitchen and two larger in the living room. Came with both Velcro tape and Velcro circles. Will be ordering more.

this set has everything you need to cover a window. I ordered this to add to 5 windows in our home where we wanted to create a blackout. First I did a room in our house that gets the hot afternoon sun, so I am hoping it will help keep that room cooler. My son likes that his room stays darker in the mornings.My daughter has 3 small windows in her room that we have never covered. She has been complaining that the Moon and stars sometimes shine in so bright that it keeps her up. We decided to add the blackout curtains to the 3 small windows and it looks nice, it’s effective in blacking out light, and she sleeps better.Everything you need comes in the set. I measured the window, then cut the curtains to the right size, then I hung them with the included Velcro strips. I think this is a great set and it does what we were hoping it would do.
