I'm 61 years old. My knees are shot. This helps greatly in my prayer time. I have a cushion for my knees now. The combination is great. Very portable. Easy to use. Highly recommend it.

Assembly is fairly easy. The pieces are dovetailed and slide together smoothly. The leg has an arrow to indicate, I presume, which way to slide in the leg, though it slides in easily either way. I slid it in so that the handle could be grasped and then pull to adjust it under my butt (because I don't really see a use for the handle at the back of the stool). At 5'10" and 220 lbs with size EU42 feet, there wasn't an issue of it being too small for me. I knelt and slid the stool under my butt. I'm going to need a little more stretching to get my knees to cooperate (I blame my "misspent" youth LOL), but I was able to balance and sit upright, albeit briefly. It wasn't uncomfortable, though if I didn't stay still, it wobbled and was pretty unstable. That's more of a distraction than a durability issue, IMO.

I love how simple, lightweight, sturdy, and portable this kneeling stool is for meditation! It comes with a nice bag so that you can pack it flat and easy for travel when a cushion is too bulky. It works well for me and I am six foot tall and 185 pounds in weight. I recommend this to any practitioner who needs something that can be easily brought on a trip or wants to save space in their meditation area with a useful, gorgeous, easily assembled/disassembled bench!

I am blown away at how well this thing works! I was a little weary at first, because I didn’t want to tip over and hurt myself, but as soon as I sat down and tried it all my fears went away. It works perfectly stable when you’re using it just like the lady in the product picture, or you can also sit on it with your feet flat on the floor and then just rest your elbows on your knees and you’re good to go! Although I do actually use this for meditation, I’m sure there are a ton of other uses you could come up with!

The description said anyone should be able to sit on this. Well, no. I'm 6'3" and there was no way I could get my feet under this rickety thing. My size 12 feet were crushed underneath, making it very uncomfortable to sit on. Another issue I had was the seat would easily detach from the stand. I used a bit of wood glue and that solved that issue. It's nice looking and a clever design, but maybe only for much smaller people. My 10-year-old loves it.

I started using this little wooden one legged stool for some meditation time. And it is actually quite comfortable. I don't have the best knees to begin with and on my knees were never a great option. But now this little stool does the trick.

This stool is incredibly tiny... I'm 6'2" with size 13 feet and the seat is actually lower than the support my own feet and calves provide. I purchased this to help with my bad knees and ankles during meditation, but this is actually worse than nothing at all.The joinery is also very loose between the seat and stool leg.
