We started out with one of those plastic bucket type travel toilets. They worked well enough, but the odor was noticeable so we decided to upgrade to this one based on the reviews. We used it on a long weekend camping trip, and it worked great! It reminds me of an airplane toilet. It is comfortable and supports up to an above average size adult. The flush system is fantastic. We kept it in the tent for the entirety of our outing and there were no odors at all when the toilet wasn't being used. It was nice not to have to get up during the night and go to the public cabin style restrooms. We found it cleaned up nicely with just a hose and some dish soap. The purchase included a carrying bag which made it a breeze to carry with just one hand.

I have a camper Van, and i travel across the country. Having this compost toilet helps me to relieve and not stop for Rest room visits. This is great product, and fits the case i build for it in my van
