This paint is lacking in pigment and appears transluscent. pretty disappointing for tempera paint which should be thick and highly pigmented. it also smells wrong (floral instead of eggy) for tempera paint. I won't be buying again.

I ordered these for my preschoolers as we go thru art materials so quickly. Tempera paint is my favorite with how easily I washes out of clothes and off surfaces. This bundle of colors is perfect and did not disappoint.

This set contains a good amount of paint product and will likely last for quite a few projects (depending on the number of kids, of course). We are using it for elementary-type kid painting projects and have been pleased with how it color mixes and the quality of the paint. A highlight of this set is that the paint does not give off much of a smell (very faint), which has been an issue in other brands we have tried. I docked a star because of the consistency of the different colors; some have a higher viscosity than others. However, for 1st grade, which I'm mainly using them for, it doesn't matter.
