Your cart is empty.Dry potato dextrose agar mix. Frequently used in the expansion and isolation of mushroom mycelium. 114 grams (1/4 lbs) per container. 20 grams per 500 ml of water to fill (20) 100 X 15 petri dishes. Heat water to a simmer and add potato dextrose agar mix. Simmer and stir slowly until fully dissolved. Sterilize at 10 psi for 30 minutes and pour.

They go above and beyond to give you as close as u can get to instant agar not only that but providing conditions for what ever you use it for . On another note I never had a problem sterilizing it it's super easy just as easy as it is to make compared to buying items and making it urself i buy this anytime for future use

Not sure if maybe it was a bad batch, bad process, or bad something else, but I'd lean towards bad batch. The agar came out cloudy, and after spending a long while mixing and trying to dissolve it better, I didn't get any improvements.Likewise, I didn't have any luck getting mycelium to grow on the plates either.

Easily made in my media bottle in the microwave to dissolve then sterilized for 30 minutes at 15psi. Poured on plates and the culture is spreading quickly. Will buy again.
