The round one for mushing double baked potatoes after cutting them up. The wavy one for making mashe potatoes. Both are good quality. No such thing on comfort on hand mashing, both get easier as u use them over time.

Overall they are good quality. I've had them for over a year and they are holding up well and easy to clean. The handles are comfortable. My only complaint is the round one has sharp edges and left big scratches in the inside of my cooking pot. It works fine in a ceramic bowl, just not a metal pot.

I originally wanted just the regular potato masher, but this set came up on my search and I decided to give it a try. I love this masher set! I don't know the different names for these, so bear with me: I used the squiggly line one first to mash potatoes, and then went in with the fine mash and my potatoes turned out so much better than when I have just used the squiggly one. Highly recommend!
