Bought two automated recliners - then got a puppy. She chewed every wire she could get-including the power supply for one of the chairs. Four years later she is FINALLY calming down, and we wanted to use the chairs. But, we thought it was lost until someone suggested getting a replacement here. Really didn't expect it would work, but am very pleasantly surprised-so much cheaper than a full replacement!

I moved and lost my Ashley Sofa Recliner power cable. Took a chance and this works great. Even better is that the box is in-between the cables so I can hide it under the couch. The plug part doesn't take as much room as the Ashley brand big plug did. I got the version that comes with an extra cable to extend the plug because my couch isn't against a wall.

The new ac adapter does work- it has a latch on the end of the cable that seems to be designed to clip onto the cable from the chair/loveseat but the notches in the clip are nowhere near the right place to engage onto the chair cable. Original power from start did not have clips and only has come off a couple times with dog/cats and moving to vacuum. Overall good fix- we will see how long it lasts.

I bought a set of powered reclining couches used in great condition, but they said the electronics no longer work after a lightning storm. I'm confident in my repair abilities, especially electrical, so I took the risk on the great deal. Turns out all I needed was a new power supply for one of the seats. (Had to replace the cupholder and control board for the other side.)The best thing about this power supply, it's the exact shape, size, and connector to plug-n-play. The more research I did, the more I found most of these powered recliners and couches use the same exactly equipment so parts are readily available. It's always nice to buy a part that fits exactly as you hope, right in the built-in holder in the metal frame, and plugs right into the existing wiring.I bought a couple extra just in case I ever need them again if it goes bad or power surge takes it out. (I'm running them on surge protectors too, but for this price it's worth having an extra since these recliners will not move at all without power. If the supply goes bad and you've got the footrest up, it's up until you fix the electrical problem. The motors and frames are very different than a regular recliner and can't be manually opened or closed if the motor is not powered up.

OMG!!I bought a beautiful leather lazy At the ReStore for $70.It had a strange plug, in the back.But, no extension for the wall plug....?Found exactly what I needed on AMAZON!!The chair is electric foot rest.All of a sudden my chair went from $70 to $700.Thank you tons!!
