Recliner wouldn't stay shut, and I noticed a missing spring. Measured the broken one, and then ordered this, as it was the same length. It was super easy to install (with a needle nose plyers). Not bad for a $5 fix. I was about to throw out the whole chair.

We thought our leather sofa had bit the dust as one of the recliners stopped opening. My husband was very excited to search Amazon and find the exact springs he needed. Bought these when a not that old recliner decided to shear a spring. A little bit of manual handling revealed the faulty part and a quick search was engaged on Amazon. These were the answer and after quick delivery they delivered me back to reclining freedom. Those winter nights are now bearable again.Matt
