Needed a better, taller jack for my Prospector XL pickup truck (lifted, big tires) because the original Ram factory jack was played out before it even got a tire off the ground, and it felt wobbly even then.Gave this a shot for three reasons: wide base to distribute load on soft soil, such as off road; auto-locking feature so it doesn’t crush me if I have to get underneath; and high load capacity.I’ve used it several times on cement for rotating tires and it works as described. It is a heavy jack - you won’t be picking this up with one hand - but the looks and feels do inspire confidence that it’s going to keep the truck off the ground and off of me. Plenty of stroke to raise my 40” tires, locks in place as it says it will, and it’s a whole lot smaller and cheaper than one of those offroad floor jacks, so it doesn’t break the budget or take up much space in the back. I trust it to keep me non-squishy when I have to put an appendage or my head under the truck. Only thing I think could be better is a longer handle. It can be tough to reach the jack when it’s under an axle. I might weld an extension to the factory handle if it bothers me enough.

Excellent product works well with my lifted jeep and the pin and built in safety lock make it easy to use.

Using my old multi-jointed knuckle-busting emergency scissor jack was difficult, awkward, flimsy, wobbly, unstable, and unsafe hand-cranking my 2 Ton beast of a car up in the air to replace a flat tire. This gem of a product (like 'why didn't I think of that') effortlessly and securely hoisted that massive weight with a few easy cranks. Built-in jack-stand held locked in place by simply inserting a pin while I safely worked on removing wheel fixing a flat using my 4-way tire lug (also an absolute must-have). Much, much more stable platform on pavement, dirt and gravel especially on the small inclines of a roadway. Totally different experience. BUT,.... **height and clearance** are an issue so 4.99 stars. Worked brilliant with my Honda CRV, but jack too tall for my Chrysler minivan so get out your tape measure before you buy. Serious improvement.

Jack/stand seems sturdy, and is easy to use. Just make sure you lock it for the jack stand function and lower the weight down after locking similar to a vehicle lift. I like how there’s adjustability to get better lifting capabilities for different vehicles.Cons: not for low vehicles and no storage for handle.

I’m 64 year old woman who hates a flimsy jack and changing a tire. Best jack I’ve ever used. This jack is sturdy and easy for me to use. Makes it easy to change a tire! Good price for a high quality jack! Highly recommend this jack…..

So, very happy with this so far. I've always had cars and got my first truck a few years ago. It's has a lift kit on it and my trusty ol' jack I've used for years was just not tall enough. The factory jack wasn't either. So naturally I've been doing the typical cheap guy thing and just using some extra boards to make it work. This was fine until my wife saw me....Sooo... it was time to find a better solution. I looked into high lift floor jacks, bottle Jacks, jack extensions, taller jack stands and I just didn't care for any of these options for various reasons.Then I found this thing. 1st off value, it's a jack and a stand in one. Money savings! Also it's much cheaper than regular high lift floor Jack's. Another win. And it's relatively light and doesn't take up nearly as much space as a big floor jack and big jack stands. Space savings is always appreciated in the garage!I just used it to replace upper control arms, and brake discs and pads. It performed flawlessly. I was a little worried after reading some of these reviews, but I had no problems.So the wife is happy, I am happy. And admittedly, now can work on my truck more safely.Well pleased.

Tired of hauling out the big floor jack AND jack stands? Me too! This just solved the problem. I use it to rotate the tires on my jeep. I rotate in my spare so all 5 tires. This jack is simple to use and with the locking jack stand I don't have to worry about a jack slowly leaking down. I purchased only one simply to "test it out" and because I'm only removing one tire at a time. I'm probably gonna order another one now so I can fully support an axle off the ground. I'll also be taking this when going off-road just to have a reliable and easy way to change a flat or get me out of a jam. The lift height is plenty for my jeep running a 2½" lift on 34" tires... The price is great and the time saved in not having to jack up a vehicle, place a jack stand, hopefully not exactly where you placed your floor jack and then moving the floor jack out of the way is a huge advantage! It's well built and has plenty of adjustability. The jack stand component works like any other. Remove the pin, adjust the height, install the pin and proceed to jack up the vehicle using the jack (typical bottle type jack) making sure the safety catch is engaging as you lift the vehicle. Once you achieve your desired height and making sure the safety latch you can release the pressure off the jack. It couldn't be any easier or faster...

A good idea but poor implementation. I do own a mid size SUV with a curb weight of 2400kg / 5290lbs and 19 inch wheels. I wanted to remove the front left wheel to check the condition of the brakes. The jack reached it's terminal position when the wheel barely detached from the ground. I was able to dismantle the wheel. However, when I was about to install it, it slumped already slightly and I was not able to lift the vehicle further up. I ended up lowering the vehicle with not properly attached and aligned wheel and lifting it again using the original jack from the vehicle manufacture. The whole fun took me 2 hours. Not recommended.

The jack initially appears to be very well built. I have just purchased the unit and have not used it on a vehicle yet.Before I purchased the unijack I did a lot of checking on the lift dimensions as there seemed to be much discrepancy in the reviews. The box says that the jack is 11 inches tall at the minimum height. YES, that is the true dimension. I had replies to my question of from 11 to 12 inches. I am not sure where people were measuring.The information also states that the jack has a range of 11 to 21 inches. Again, this is true, but this wide range is only achieved by raising the jack support section. With the jack support in the lowest pin level, the jack is at 11 inches. With the jack support in the highest pin position the jack is at 15 inches.The most important piece of information that is missing anywhere is the stroke length of the bottle jack. One gentlemen was very kind to reply to my inquiry about the stoke length with the CORRECT and EXACT measurement. The STROKE LENGTH of the bottle jack is 6.5 inches. For my case, with the clearance that I have to place the jack under my 2016 Jeep Cherokee, I have to start the jack at its minimum height of 11 inches. This means that my maximum lift height is 11 inches plus 6.5 inches, for a maximum lift height of 17.5 inches. For my requirement this is sufficient with about 1 inch to spare. THIS JACK WILL NOT LIFT FROM 11 TO 21 INCHES IN ONE GO.If you start with the jack support extended to 15 inches, then the maximum lift height will be 21 and a bit inches. There are four holes in the jack support about 1 inches apart, so that is the starting point adjustment that you have.I hope that my explanation makes sense and helps some people make a more informed decision. Thank you to those who replied to my inquiry.UPDATE November 03, 2018. Well, I used this jack in anger two days ago to put my winter tyres on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee after we had out first snow in Edmonton . The jack/support worked great. Very stable, very strong. I used a modified hockey puck to sit on top of the support side. I cut two slots on one side of the puck to match the support top profile, and a small groove on the other side to accept the pinch weld. This cut is basically more of a guide to ensue the jack is centred on the pinch weld. I glued a piece of hard cardboard on the bottom side of the puck to fit between the two grooves so that the puck would not be pushed down and deformed on each lift. After jacking the puck showed not signs of deformation.Just one point. When you release the pressure off the jack and lower the vehicle, the bottle jack will NOT continue to fall down to the original starting position, unlike a floor jack. You will need to reach under the vehicle and put some force on the top of the jack to push the piston down. I only needed to move mine down a bit then could tip the jack out and push the remainder of the distance to the bottom once out from under the vehicle. Just make sure that you have the jack support stop bar lifted. I think that once the jack is used more, it might not be as stiff to push down. Still a great safe jack.

Was a bit hesitant based on some reviews online but glad I still went ahead and purchased.Very sturdy and well build. Using on my offgrid vw crafter.You do need good ground clearance to get it under to start with but after that it really does make life easy without having to fumble with jacks and stands.Usually your stand always needs to go where the jack is! Not anymore!
