I have been doing some modifications on my Q3 with the original equipment provided by Audi. I don't much like the scissors jack that they give you. As I have been doing a bit of work with the wheels in particular, I decided I needed a floor jack. I wanted one with enough lift but at a reasonable price. These TORIN Big Red ones seemed to fit my needs. As my SUV has a curb weight of 3900+ pounds, I opted for the 2.5 Ton rated one.It was able to lift the car without much effort.I was able to make my modifications fairly quickly.I think this is a great floor jack.

PRO: Price.Can use handle in tight spots as you don’t have to keep it straight and raise at angles.CONS: If you use the extension, it can only handle 2.5 tons vs 3.0 tons. So that’s a surprise I didn’t expect!Quality is a bit cheaper but not a deal breaker.A few reviews claimed that Oil leaks out after sometime. As I have not owned it long, jury is still out on that.The shipment comes in original packing and it’s pretty beat up by the time you get it. My Jack came scraped & scratched & box ripped with holes etc.

It is much heavier than my previous jack which was smaller. That is a good thing by the way. I had the old jack for a few years before I ever had a need to use it. It didn't raise high enough for my vehicle. This one I did more research on what size I really needed. This was perfect and the price was right.

I needed a jack to get low enough to fit under my long range Model Y. This jack fit under with the jack pad and lifted the car without any issues. As some have mentioned, just the slightest twist of the jack release will cause the jack to drop quickly. You can slowly ease it down, but you have to barely turn the release super slowly for that to happen. I was able to rotate my tires lifting from the front lift point. It got the car high enough to take off both tires on one side.

Well 1st things 1st they actual stands ar fantastic but the jack is a di story it's way smaller than expected can't get the jack stands under the car and then the release mechanism is jus terrible you can't adjust to a slow let down it just let's it down all the way being rough an not safe at all then when jacking it up it pulls the car instead of moving the base of the jack twords the the car wich can cause more damage and be harmful then the handle is just so short you have a hard time using it to lift anything if you uave an sum or even a stock hight car good luck even really being able to lift the car up this thing is just one big red flag save money get a good jack

I set the jack under my Ram 2500 rear axle. It did lift the tire off the ground but with a lot of force/effort on the very short handle. I just weighed my truck so I know my rear axle load. It only had to pick up 1,840lbs. That is way under the 5000lb rating. If it can lift that much, a much longer handle would be needed to get the leverage necessary to do that. A handle extension should be provided if they want to claim it can lift 5000lbs. Other than that it would work for many applications where the person using it has the strength/mass to actuate the hydraulic pump. If the entire jack is under the vehicle, then it will be difficult to get the leverage to get the most out of it. Also, the support pad is very small and has very shallow grooves, so that makes it more risky due to higher chance of slipping off load. I would have sacrificed 1/4†of lift height to have deeper grooves on support pad. It would just be safer to use. I would never put myself under a load being lifted without proper support such as jack stands. Just wanted to be clear…. No judgement necessary. 🙂

This is a great value set when you consider that it comes with a pair of stands which is a safety must if you are planning to raise your car for home maintenance. Never work on a car that is only supported by a jack and always place stands under the car, in case the car comes off the jack unexpectedly.This set has a pretty decent lifting capacity at 2 tons and very small footprint for storage and hassle free handling.The only negative is that it is NOT suitable for SUVs or cars with a high center of gravity.As you can see in the picture, I have had to space it up to lift my SUV but with an additional stand under the car, it is a pretty safe lift.Never work under your car, alone. Make sure someone is watching and knows how to handle jacks.

Used the jack to change tires on a Toyota SUV and a Volkswagen sedan. The jack works flawlessly. No complaints.

This jack is so easy to use, safe, I love that the swivel mechanism allows me to position the jack in a safe way to lift, even on slight inclines. the adjustable height makes it so easy to lift both short or tall vehicles. My only issue is that there is no handle to lift but other than that, It's excellent.
