I am a woodworker. I don't see any reason to buy a drill press with belts. It may not have some of the bells and whistles like the Nova but that is exactly why I wanted the powermatic. I didn't want a drill press beeping at me all the time. I want it to drill holes. The depth stop is ok, I need to get used to the new style. Maybe someday I will like it better than the older model.Plenty of power. Dual lights and a decent laser system. I was able to assemble in about 30 minutes and I didn't need to get help to lift anything.The size it perfect for my small shop. Delivery was great. No issues at all and friendly on top of that. I called customer service to register the unit. A very friendly service lady help me and she was very nice to talk too. I am not one to be brand loyal but Powermatic might lean me in their direction for my next big purchase.
