Introducing the 2-1/2-Inch Dust Control Flex Cuff with Hose Clamps by POWERTEC.
This coupler is designed to provide you with an airtight connection between a pair of 2-1/2” dust collection fittings or hoses. You won’t need unattractive duct tape or a messy assortment of screws because it comes equipped with standard hose clamps. It’s a highly useful (and reusable) dust collection system accessory, as it allows you to interchange fittings and connect adapters to keep all of your dust collection tools connected.
Compatibility
These Flex Cuffs work exclusively with nominal 2-1/2” O.D. ports, hoses and fittings.

This very nicely fits any pipe that is 2-1/2†outside diameter. I used it on a 2-1/2†PVC pipe as well as a a 2-1/2†dust collection hose connection (2-inch PVC coupler or elbow, or 2-1/2†dust collection fitting). 2-inch connections are difficult to find at local hardware stores and I don’t feel like looking online and paying shipping costs for one part). It was slightly loose on the dust collection, but both sealed up nicely with the included hose clamps. I know it isn’t designed to do so, but I stretched and forced the 2-1/2†connection, and I was able to get it around it. I had to purchase a dryer hose clamp to get it to fit around the stretched connection, and it worked beautifully. Quality appears and feels excellent.

Measurements are a little hard to follow, I actually made a mockup so I could test the measurements before I drilled holes in my project. Well made, works as advertised.

I purchased this rubber pipe coupler to support my 2 1/2 inch dust collection system. This coupler’s inner diameter measures a little bit bigger than 2 1/2 inches. As a result, it fits very easily over my 2 1/2 inch exterior diameter pipe and couplers.The pipe clamps that come with the coupler cinch down very easily and buttoned up my dust collection system perfectly. It was just what I needed.I recommend the use of this 2 1/2 inch rubber coupler for your desk collection system as well.

Clamps are looseThey don’t fit flush to the wall or ceilingI used powertec clamps and piping so I don’t understand why they are loose.

I like the plastic hangers but to use them on 2-1/2" tubes and the "y" fittings of the dust collectors they are too short to allow fastening with both screws. There is such a stress I was concerned the tubes may crack especially when the clear elbows and "Y" fittings are used yet these are what are sold with the $136 kit. Makes me wonder if anyone has actually laid out the usage during design. If Powertec has a solution I am interested to know if they want to revisit what they are recommending and selling.

The only thing is that the bolts are 7mm instead of standard 8
