Bought this to keep the leaf debris off of my little pond. It also kept the algae down because it’s just opaque enough. I suspend it about 4’ off the pond so the birds can still access the water. It held up at least one season, we’ll see if it makes it through a second one. We’ve put it through some weather this year!

Was one of the only shade cloths that was under 50% that I saw in the size I wanted so I picked it up. I had been using 30%, but can only get that in 10x10 or the price more than doubles. This cloth seems a bit darker than expected, but seems to work fine for my peppers. I was having issues getting them to produce and plenty of leaf drooping from the extreme Texas heat, but after getting this over them, they have started to produce peppers again. I am even growing some tomatoes that I could never get to grow in the summer sun before. As others have said, the grommets and edges are a bit questionable, but I really haven't had any issues as I just use clips (my previous cloths had no cloth edges or grommets). In the end, the 10x15 size was perfect for my shade hut and the cloth is doing it's job.

People I have met when I first arrived in Texas last year said you can't grow a garden here in Texas as the sun will just burn everything up. This sunshade has allowed for a productive garden, not as productive as when we were in VA but none the less have been able to keep beans, peas, peppers, etc alive and producing here in TX during this hot summer months.

In this very hot Florida summer, my plants were not doing well. I have several small vegetable beds and this shade cloth lets through enough sunshine for the plants to flourish while providing enough shade to lower the temperature. This size was right for me and I love how light weight and easy to handle it is. I will be buying more of these , maybe one of the larger sizes offered, as I'm planning next years vegetable garden and will use it to protect my plants from the heat and from the grasshoppers who can decimate a small garden in no time. I think this is a game changer.

As discribed, came in nicely, packaged very well. I got this to make some shade for my dogs on the hot days during the summer months. A value at this price, and a perfect size. light wieght but durable. Highly recommend I'm getting another for another area.

The POYEE 40% shade cloth worked perfectly for protecting my plants—until a surprise heavy snowstorm hit while I was at work. By the time I got home, the weight of the snow had done it in.Pros:✅ Provides good shade – Helped keep my plants from frying in the sun.✅ Easy to install – Grommets made setup a breeze.✅ Held up through three seasons – Spring, summer, and fall were no problem.Cons:⌠Not snowproof – The unexpected storm was too much for it.Final Thoughts:If you're using this for seasonal shade, it’s fantastic. Just make sure to take it down before winter hits—or risk the same fate mine had! 🌱ðŸ¡
