Invented by a plumber, the 64 oz. Gleco Trap System revolutionizes the age-old chore of sink trap retrieval and plaster trap maintenance. No more leaky bags or bulky buckets!

Once the preassembled Gleco Trap is installed, replacing the bottle takes less than 90 seconds start to finish, without tools. Simply turn side valve to drain off excess water, unscrew full bottle, and screw in a clean one.

System includes one trap assembly, two 64-oz. replacement bottles, all necessary 1-1/2" pipe components, and simple instructions for a five-minute installation.

It does seem to separate out sediment as intended. I like that it is easy to maintain and empty.Only problem is the unit is held up only by the compression fitting, and cantilevered at that. It's pretty heavy with that jug of water on the bottom, and the fitting couldn't hold it up no matter how much I tightened it. I ended up adding a strap to the drain spigot on the other side to help support it.

Installed this for my hobby pottery setup. Looks like it works, i still use buckets and dump outside when possible but things like hand washing I'll do it in the sink with the Gleco trap.

Easy to install , easy to use. A little costly up-front, but way less expense that what the plumber would charge to repair drains or even sewer pipes full of clay sludge.

Good item but unfortunately the fittings are US size so I will need to pay a plumber to install if it was UK size I could have fitted it myself

Installed it myself. Works really well.The funniest message on the trap is: do not reuse. You can reuse the same trap 1000 times.
