If you combine this with a Vegetation killer spray, this works wonders, I literally had no weeds in my landscape rocks for almost a whole year!

This preen works very well but you need to use it on time and water it in or it will not work. Also, it you have a lot of weeds and are just starting to use this, you may wat to dig all the weeds out and start clean. We will buy again as it has worked great.

It does a pretty good job and ALMOST gets all the weeds. I don’t know what type of weed, possibly dandelions, but that’s the one weed it didn’t seem to stop. It slows crab grass down a huge amount but that weed of course also comes back. Other than that I am about 90% satisfied.

Really like the ease of use out of container and it really does work preventing weeds. Important to remember that this is not a weed killer but a weed preventer. Kill any weeds first with a weed killer or pull up by hand and then dispense directly from container, cover over with mulch, then water to activate.

Have used the 3 month Preen weed preventer and gave the extended control (6 month) a try. Both spread the same. Instructions are the same. Got the same weed prevention as the 3 month product. No more, no less.

Now if a seed has already sprouted this is useless. But if you spread it like you're putting salt on steak, it will work as a pre emergent.ðŸ‘

If you hate pulling weeds, and who doesn't, this is the stuff you want. Spread it before the weeds start and the weeds wont germinate. It really works. Not sure about 6 months... I try to spread again every 4.
