For pennies a disc these are pretty decent. I don't use sticky back discs as much as the velcro type, but these are pretty good. This is a good variety to try out or to have around the shop when needed.

Full disclosure, I received this item as part of Amazon's Vine Program in exchange for an honest review, good or bad. I wanted to try out this brand of sandpaper on my new high end Milwaukee M12 sander which comes with both hook and loop pad and a PSA pad. I'm used to the hook and loop on woodworking tools but haven't used PSA in 30 years when I used to use a DA to sand metal slabs for an automotive finish. I saw that non of these PSA disks have holes for dust collection, which is a non starter for me. However I noticed the sample pack does have holes in them. Great!...or so I thought. When it arrived, they didn't have holes in them. I looked at the photo and the photo is the wrong photo. It says it is Hook and Loop in the photo, even though the product is PSA.I still used the sandpaper, but not on my good sander. Air flow from dust extractors helps keep the motors cool, in addition to keeping the sandpaper from clogging, not to mention making a mess in your shop and in your lungs. For air tools, I wouldn't hesitate to use this sandpaper as it cuts well and lasted a long time. For cheap electric sanders that you don't mind burning out faster, this would be good sandpaper too. If you have expensive sanders, like Festool or Mirka, I would not use any paper without holes.That being said, these sandpaper will not go to waste. I have plenty of automotive sanding blocks that use 6 inch PSA sanding disk for hand sanding.

Ordered this (10) Variety Pack of 100 Sanding Disc for use with my 6" DA sander while restoring and repainting my old truck. I like the sticky backed DA paper as it sticks well. It's also made of good aluminum oxide material and last much longer than the average sandpaper. The variety pack was a good choice as it give me sandpaper for the repair spots and the finer grade paper let me get my truck ready to put primer and final coats of paint. It sands old paint down smooth and helps get the final results of a paint job well done. This 100 pack gave me enough sandpaper to get my truck ready and paint the whole truck. Happy with order

I got these to sand some wood and epoxy resin... with the wide array of grits and 100 sanding discs at $6/box it seemed like a deal too good to be true.In the end, the product description correctly says that these are sticky backed; however, the product photos clearly label and show these sanding pads as hook and loop with ventilation holes for an orbital sander, and that's what I was expecting to receive... but these are just round, glue/sticky pads without any ventilation holes.I can still use the sanding pads by sticking them to an old hook and loop sanding pad, and I punch some holes in the pads to align with the sander ventilation holes... and you can stick them to a manual sanding block too, but this is not the product I was expecting and is just adding more work to the project.

These are made to be attached to an orbital sander and I'm sure that would be a great way to use them. I got them because I teach ceramics and need small amounts of a wide variety of grits of sandpaper, and the sticky back can also be used to attach them to pieces of wood for work smoothing out bisquewear. The enormous variety of grits is great for this because we end up needing to go from rougher to finer, but are rarely working on a large expanse of project so buying all of the different ones in large squares tends to end up with a fair amount of waste. I'm sure others will talk about connecting them to electric sanders but I can speak to the usefulness of having small pieces of many different fineness levels for hand use by multiple students simultaneously.

Although all sand papers are the same. However, this premium gold sand disc came with a variety of different grits for all of your house hold needs. I still possessed a spindle operated with a drill type driver and it was perfect to use on these sand discs. I used the 2 sand grit 120 and 220 to sand the bottom edge of my door to correct the interference and it worked quite well. Most of all, it was a good investment at this price point .

The description for this sandpaper is correct (6" PSA) but the photo shows 6" hook and loop with holes. The product matches the description, not the photo. I don't have a 6" RO sander, but have found that PSA sandpaper comes in handy for odd sanding jobs. You can cut and stick a piece to you fingers to reduce finger strain instead of pinching (for detail work), and also stick it to a piece of wood, dowel, block, shape, etc. to make a quick contour sander. The box had a little brochure for DuraGold, despite DuraGold not appearing on the packaging or the paper. I have some other DuraGold sandpaper, and it is reasonable affordable stuff. Not premium, but worth the money. I love 3M Cubitron, but sometimes you sand stuff that destroys paper quickly (tear or gum up), and 'disposable' sandpaper comes in handy. Save the premium stuff for the right uses. At the time of review, the assortment box was selling for $6. Although I received this for review, I purchased a second box at that price. Not sure why the assortment was half the price of the single grits, but at 6 cents a disc, you can't go wrong! Another plus is that the grit assortment is a good even progression. I have some other variety packs that aren't properly spaced. The general rule is the next finer paper should be no more than 1.5x the current number.
