I was looking to replace a McGuire I bought at big box store. Can't find it. This is it plus I believe better. Little stiffer which is better. Bought the large. Not I lost 40lb over last 18 months so I'm down to 37" waist. That's about it. Was really yanking on it at first but now it stretched a lilWouldn't try it if you're any bigger. Velcro is a little noisy when you bend over. Now I wear this kinda below the waist. Down towards the groin to help prevent hernia. Then a heavy weight belt over it for squats etc. but it's pretty stiff on its own. Light work you can just wear this. It's not as confining as a regular weight belt but stiffer then just a neoprene belt kinda in between. I would guess the large is 32-36. Tried to ask them but didn't hear back took a chance glad I did
