Really nice set of door lock for a pocket door. Our pocket doors only have any sort of handle on the side of the door, to pull it out of the wall for closing. But there is no handle on the sides of the doors, making it incredibly difficult to open and close completely. This hardware definitely helps that issue.

The lock itself is nice looking and ergonomically easy to use for a pocket door lock. However, my engineer husband who installs things all the time, had a hard time understanding why it wasnΓ’β¬β’t fitting. There seemed to be, on the technical writerΓ’β¬β’s part, an assumption that we already knew to cut the inside mechanism shorter if we were putting it into a 1 3/8th inch door rather than a wider one (it goes into both). There is no mention at all of that in the directions! I put a lot of things together myself and i must say the directions and even the layout of the directions on the page were extremely and unnecessarily confusing. More pictures and detail would be helpful.
