The review is for EZends 3/4 inch square tubular plastic plug set of 50. These are made from good quality plastic of ample thickness, unlike the flimsy ones I purchased before them. The plastic does not give, and fits very snugly in the 3/4 inch end without a chance of falling out. It is raised from the end a good amount, makes for great sliders on the bottom of the chair and good smooth ends on top. The ends do have a slight sheen, my chairs are matte, but they look and function well. Please see photos.

Harder to put on with thicker metal. The reduced inner dimension requires more force and steady hand when pounding into the end. Too much force will sheer off the fins but they do stay put.

Amazon asked me to review this product. Luckily, I am beyond amazed. I'm actually tickled pink. Golly, who'da thunk that a little piece of plastic could be so useful? I had holes in the end of nasty, sharp and very unforgiving metal post thingies. By gum, what would I ever do? What if my granddaughter cut her finger on it? (Purely rhetorical. I'll deny it every happened!) You say, "surely you jest!," But no! Dangers, pain and tetanus abound on sharp metal corners!Sure, I coulda filled 'em all down, but there are literally dozens of them! I went on a search for a solution, and I stumbled on these little wonders! You just put 'em on the top of the post, and give 'em a solid "WHACK!" with a rubber mallet. They sink right in and protect tender fingers from laceration!These things are the best thing since sliced ham. And sliced ham came long before sliced bread. You know that people once ripped bread apart with their bare hands?Barbarians!

Used on bar stools with square cross-section legs. Perfect fit. Look good. Couldn't believe that I found exact match for originals. Amazon multiplicity of choice again. The detailed specs helped. Can't speak to longevity, but so far so good.
