I buy plastic handle two stone brushes regular but my first purchase of the wood handle ones were trash. Fell apart after brushing holds on a board, so definitely not good enough for outside. Would replace them but too lazy to jump through Amazon's return policy hoops.

I'm really liking this bouldering brush. The bristles do a great job cleaning holds, and the handle is comfy to hold. However, I did notice that after a few uses, a couple of bristles started to come loose. Despite that, it still seems like a durable brush that's going to be a handy addition to my climbing gear. Solid four stars from me

The description says 1pc, but it actually comes with two brushes. I'm happy about that.My husband doesn't climb mountains, but he does clean rocks. He is a gold prospector, and one of the things he does is sweep the bedrock clear of every speck of dirt. Regular brushes just aren't dense enough. He often uses a tire brush, but for nooks and crannies, those brushes are too wide. These brushes are nice and dense, and the heads are slim and narrow. He took one look at them and said they look like good brushes. He is going gold prospecting this weekend and will be using them out in gold country.

I purchased one of these brushes from Two Stones several months ago and it's come in very handy. I decided it would be nice to have another and ordered what I thought was just one brush. To my surprise, there were two different style brushes in the box, so I kind of feel like I got two for the price of one.My good friend, who is an accomplished and well known climber used the brush on a new route to clean out some troublesome lichen and said it worked amazingly well and appreciated the hole for hanging it from her rack. If she likes it so much, I'm sold!Honestly, at this point I can't really comment on the differences between the two brushes, but I'm sure once I start using these on a regular basis, I'll figure out which is better for what.

These are comfortable to hold and use. There are 2 brushes in this kit despite the listing stating this is for 1 brush. One is denser and a bit firmer and the other is softer. These will be used for conditioning my son's baseball glove. The conditioner we have is like a paste, so the firmer brush will work well with it. Excellent purchase, but I do not understand why they are limiting their selling audience to 'rock climbers' only with these brushes!!

Read an article the other day that praised the benefits of "dry brushing" - that is, using a brush on dry skin to help stimulate collagen production, overall circulation and even energy cleansing of the body. I got these "rock climbing brushes" for that specific purpose, and I have to tell you, the results have been quite satisfying.I like that the bristles of these brushes aren't synthetic. Instead, they utilize genuine boar's hair for the bristles, which are attached to wooden handles. Periodically, I will gently rub the boar's hairs bristles over my entire body: arms, legs, buttocks, chest and belly. I then follow up with a shower until lukewarm water. Immediately, I can sense both surface dirt and toxins being removed from my epidermis (with the help of peppermint castile soap), and I emerge feeling energized and refreshed. Don't pass these brushes up because you aren't a rock climber........these are great for your skin - from head to toe.
