This gauge is simple the best. The last gauge I used was digital & was off by a few mm (give or take) causing my estimated carat weights to be off. No problems with this one though. The price is steep but it’s built well & has already survived hitting the concrete floor after being dropped twice. :D

Works as it should, but these presidium gauges are fragile AF. One drop than accuracy of the guage goes right out the window. This is my third gauge in 6 yrs, not terribly durable or terribly expensive as far as gauges go in my opinion. Presidium is a very reputable brand tho, and this gauge is the best choice if you dont want to drop the money for a digital gauge.
